that new eminem...Started 11 years ago by YoYoPo / toggle topic info
apart from pronouncing Worcester sauce wrong... whats your thoughts?
he seems to have found which of his tracks did the best in the past and kept that style. It's hard to put my finger on it but... his flow. Or his voice at least. The way he intones things is very different nowadays. And the chorus crooning.... :/
tbh I always thought Slim Shady LP was his best so I ain't gonna love it
Couldn't listen to the whole album.
that just about sums it up
It's hip-pop as far as i'm concerned. He used to be an excellent mc, back in the day when he was on eastern allstar compilations rhyming with royce da 5"9 and sh!t. Now he just sounds like a joke. His first album was his finest by a long way.
Still, he'll probably sell millions of copies of this piece of crap, so he's an astute business man if nothing else.
I thought Marshall Mathers LP was pretty good...
haven't given em a shot ever since.
yeah i could not agree more , i like eminem earlier like around the late 90s and early 00's i also like his underground ablum infinite, which he made before he came up onto the detroit hip hop scene. now i look at em like hes not taking rap seriously like he used to, now hes just mocking sh!t going on and making himself looking like a complete retard.
i copped that album when i was a youngin'...
tellin the guy at warehouse, " but i really want this cassette!"
one of my first hip-hop memories.
Ye, some of the beats are pretty dope though, Deja Vu & My mom. Agreed though his first major LP will always be his best. I have grown to not be as much of a hater as I used to be in general though these days. It's always interesting for me to just hear what all those major dudes are doing though. Curiousity really I guess.
The way that he rhymes with certain words and phrases is interesting.. real intricate. Hard to explain but his wordplay is quite dope in some cases. Subject matter is mostly just the same sh!t
He has got to the point where he just has nothing at all to prove anymore so he can get away with whatever now and a huge amount of people will buy it anyway.
His whole rehab story is quite interesting. He really turned things around.
Anyone heard the song he got on alchemists chemical warfare?
