Ever nab a record you were particularly proud of? Good bargain or rare find?
When I was 13, a record merchant gave me a near-mint copy of Head Hunters for $2 'cause I told him I'd been looking for the LP forever. (and since then, I've seen it everywhere... Always seems to happen)

Posted 9 years ago #A couple stick out in my head with the hip hop. An original pressing of the Melodica EP is a gem of my collection. I found The Wrong Side of the Tracks original 2xLP in a library record sale once round the corner from me. That was the only hip hop record they had, nestled in amongst the barry white and michael jackson and sh!t... I tried not to look too excited so the dude wouldn't rip me off... ha ha, good times.
Also picked up a beastie boys time to get ill double LP from a little old school record shop, that was a treat... gatefold goodness. Diggable planets vinyl is nice too...
Oooh... and a Binary Star LP, which is rare as f*ck I think... I'm kinda glad my diggin days are over though, I haemorrhaged money for awhile there... -

Which Fishbucket?
Fishbucket Part 1? Must be as I know what was sampled for 2 and 3. Should we take this over to the members section?
Back to the topic. Best find for me was this year at my local second hand record shop where I found a copy of Ike White's Changin Times for 15 euros. Wicked album that's never been re-released and normally goes for 80-120 dollars on eBay... -
