Here Comes Treble said: Another suggestion:Very true... I've already given my share to other people just to cop rarities, and I'd rather post that kind of cash to the real PUTS for it. Then again, I realize that you probably wouldn't want to hock something special like Mithai, 'cause it has special meaning to you.
- I'm not sure how distribution works or how much you have of anything old, but if you had, say, a copy of O.S.T. on vinyl you'd be willing to part with, that's be cool. If you have limited quantities of old, OOP PUTS vinyl you could even set up an auction part of the web store. I'd feel better giving you the money than some punk on eBay.

Instrumental albums added to the production list
how about some PUTS disc golf discs? u into that thes? i know there r some bomb courses in cali...i played golden gate park in November...great course
Frolf discs would be sweet. Not sure how well they'd sell though.
Yea second the frolf discs. I have a feeling that's especially popular in Cali. Also, with your own label would it be easier to have your own shows? And to get a bunch of dope artists on it, like the guys on your featured spots and other underground Cali cats?
ALl of that stuff sounds great, but the vinyl goodies are what get me most excited:
American Men Vol 1 2xLP
7" Box Set
Skate film (?) score on vinyl
any other vinyl rarities
American Men Vol 1 2xLP
damn vinyls would be ok, but i would like to see extra footage of thes' recording studio like hangin out and sh!t. like it was on stepfather. with like tracks just for the dvd. well something like that. u can compose that with the anniversery dvd. if u can. ill definately cop any gear from PUTS.
Thes this all sounds great. But where's all the capital coming from? I don't want you guys to love the fans so hard that you'll go into debt.

I know you're going out on a financial limb here, and we want to make sure you're as supported as possible, but you just let us know, and we got your back.
Also, we going to see some Street Dreams related stuff?
This is amazing! Thes and Spelunk you're really doin some good here. i second the 7" boxset and hats and hoodies, but what i really want to see is the colt 45 sleeve cover with billy d as a GIANT POSTER! also i would buy any and every instrumental/original samples/solo material you release.
a few cents:
I think one of the easiest way to generate money without risk would be a semi-regular digital thing. for example - you make beats thes, most of them arent heard. If you had a bi-monthly EP of just beats u made and you like - put it out. I suggest a site like http://www.bandcamp.com
Say you sell the EP for 4-5 dollars - boom. It would literally take u a few hours to upload some beats, make a simple cover and its done. The fans will buy it. Guaranteed. It all comes down to the music - and if people are willing to search all over EBay for some record u made a beat for 10 years ago, you can beat they'll be excited for anything thes or puts related. b-side comps, remixes, instrumentals whatever. And digital is the safest best - sink your money into promotion instead.. Of course PUTS albums and singles should still be physical.
In regards to all the expensive stuff, like golf clubs and such - im sure theres a few dozen hard-core fans that would go for it. But i really dont think any more than that would - just being realistic here.
Gear is always a good idea - starter-type hats are size-changeable and seem to be makin a comeback.. Shirts, hoodies are always a safe bet.
Alibi, are you saying that the P should consolidate all their limited release stuff to one site. Because if so, that's a good idea.
Also, how about some compilation packs? Something like $150 for all albums, including extras, maybe a DVD, hella photos, some VIP passes etc.
good ideas alibi...i like the idea of a bi-monthly beat tape
Yeah, I like the idea of the beat tapes.
I also like that "Ultimate P Fan" option that trenchmc put up. Put together everything that was released for sale as one item.
Favorite barbecue recipes. Rubs, mops, glazes, smoking wood, marinades.
+1 for the hoodies/hats/t-shirts etc...
This is exciting!
