   Hey fellow PUTS'ers. I just did my first open mic yesterday, video is coming soon. Wondering if anyone else has done this before? Once the video comes feel free to critique, or if you're a true PUTS fan, take it home and analyze it, then rewind the vid over and over, and memorize it (Sactown I just saw your post and thought that it was funny as sh!t so haha).

   I played self-composed sorta-sh*tty pop tunes in coffeehouses (piano/vocals) around Sacramento about 10 years ago. Never headlined, but some of the people I opened for said they liked my material. I actually had created a full-blown website for my music, and it got a half-page article in the UC Davis newspaper one time... the site's defunct now. One of these days, maybe I'll make a CD and self-promote. Thes has inspired me, haha...
   
   But yeah, post 'em, trench, lemme see what you got!

   Where was this by the way? At your high school? or some other venue?
   
   Keep the jokes flowin my man! I liked the high school references/stories. Is that the style you were going for, or did it just come out like that (i.e. naturally).

   Thanks Xcel (I'm calling you Xcel now like Chief Xcel). This was done at a comedy club in downtown Seattle, so lots of 20 and 30 somethings, I guess I can really only stick with the high school stuff for now, seeing as it's the thing I know best. We'll see as time goes on.

   Haha, that was some funny sh*t, man. It's aweomse that you hit that up... stand-up... man, that takes some balls, 'cause I've seen so many people try and fail 'cause of a tough audience. You got the laughter from them, though (and you deserved it). Awesome.

    watched this last night dude, well played indeed getting up there on stage, i don't think i'd be up for that. You should do more geek stuff in your routine, I reckon that sh!t is a comedy goldmine (being a massive geek myself).
