Was checking out the piecelock website and I had totally forgot that there was a Fun DMC Dub version. I saw it on there a long time ago but never got it. Is it any good?

Normally, I'd be all over something like this. But I'm not a big dub fan, which is weird cuz I love reggae. And Fun DMC is actually my least favorite PUTS album - still think it's great though.

Who's heard this that can give a good review? Or can anyone post a song or two from it? Tried to look it up on youtube but didn't find anything.

haha! Well it's not too different to the original. Just a bit more feedback echo loops and such. Nothing too crazy but worth a listen... I might dig it out again now!

i always find it interesting that a chunk of PUTS fans don't hold FUNDMC very high on their lists...

ever since it came out it's been one of my favorites.

Fishbucket part 3 just f***ing kills me everytime. it was the only thing i was disappointed with in the 10YOTO box (the fact that it was cut short)

the Missus™ & i were gonna karaoke the FACK outta that ish.

Still think it's a great album, but compared to the others I'd say it's their most hit or miss. I love Swan Fever (probably my favorite PUTS opening song, actually), Fishbucket pt. 3, Letter 2 The Bronx, and especially Gamin' On Ya (also my favorite Parliament song). But I'm not big on The Fun, Party enemy No. 1, People Riddum, A Baby, or Same Beat. The rest is pretty good. I just feel like what they were trying to do on Fun DMC they did a better job of on Carried Away. If they just made a monster double album combining the best of those two that could be their best album for sure.

On a side note, I'd love to see some P karaoke videos!
