Truly tragic news - don't really know what to say.
These boards will never be the same again.
Just shows you how life can sometimes mess you up...and should remind us all to really appreciate what we've got.
RIP Sac

OceanMan... Love this bro!
not mine, i stole it from somewhere on FB
i'm kinda shocked at how upset by this whole thing i am for a guy i never met in the flesh (pretty f***ing upset)
but those of us who have been on here for a while have come to know Sactown over the years.
i had an idea he was going through some sh!t, but i guess i didn't realize how severe it was, now i am kicking myself for not reaching out more, but in the end i'm pretty sure it wouldn't have changed anything.
i just can't believe it. such a great guy.
this place will never be the same
This is not official, it's just an idea I thought would be a great way to honor and remember him. Maybe even have the proceeds go to suicide prevention?
That would be awesome BB, great idea! So surreal...
RIP Sactown. Shocked and sad to hear this news. He did so much for us PUTS fans. Thank you.
Gutted.
Never met Patrick but he was always super supportive of my music and was a welcome ray of positivity and selflessness in this cynical music world i occupy. Its unfair and its tragic and Ill miss him.
I think it would be awesome if we could do something for his funeral. Club together for some flowers at least. Could someone states side co-ordinate??
As someone who's suffered from depression in the past I feel Sac's pain. In retrospect the signs were there from pmunys posts on insta, but, I think it's impossible to see the depth of the problem if the sufferer doesn't want it to be seen. If if knew that we held him such high esteem I feel that, alas, it wouldnt have helped. It speaks volumes that like others have said, I've shed a tear or two over someone I've never met but felt like a true friend.
Can't believe I remembered my log in info.
Pat will be remembered fondly here and I'm sure by others who had the chance to come in contact with him. He did so much for the P Army and it is our job to keep his efforts and spirit alive. I'm not entirely certain what the next step needs to be to preserve his work but I hope it will be a collective effort to do so. We are soldiers fighting for a more inclusive and heartfelt scene. Pat most assuredly led the pack. Let's build on the foundation that Pat left us. Let it inspire us to do more of the same. Let's also remember that there are people hurting in this world. Lend a hand, an ear or a shoulder to cry on to anyone who may need it. One love! We're all in this together!
I've been so busy working that I only just checked online and saw this news. It can be so easy to be distracted from what's important in life - and this is important to me! Pat stepped up and filled this whole forum and community with fun and just great energy. I feel blessed to have set up the website where that was able to happen.
I'm gutted. Truly truly saddened.
I was looking forward to meeting Pat one day and trading music, life stories and jokes. Dude was so genuine - you could feel it even across the distance of the Atlantic ocean and over the internet. Pat was always one to share - he contributed so much for everyone on here And more because I know The P wasn't his only passion. Thank you for everything you shared Pat - all the hilarious stories, the special records and the lyrics! Rest In Peace Pat. We'll miss you.
P ARMY
We got to club together right now and show some love and support, even over the internet and worldwide. For Pat's memory and for his family and for Mike and Chris who I know are hit hard by this.
I would like to plan something we can put together for his memorial service. For his family too. Flowers, a charity donation, a memorial... Something special.
I'll organise this on behalf of the worldwide P Army sactown memorial in love of Pat and the music...
I'm going to get in touch with Thes and find out how we can do this!
Anyone who wants to add to this - send a donation to my email by paypal (as a gift payment). tim_d_coles@yahoo.co.uk
I will collect and organise.
REST IN PEACE MY BROTHER.
Sounds like a good plan YoYoPo I'll get something over to you ASAP. Let's come together to celebrate Pats memory.
