thank you all for your patience, hopefully you dig it!

A few quick points ->

New stuff

- Click on your username at the top to edit your information
- To keep up to date with any topic, you can subscribe to email updates, an RSS feed or add to a 'favourites' list of topics by clicking on the 'topic info' next to the topic title
- Add relevant tags to topics and we can build a music matrix!

Avatars

by default everybody gets a monster as an avatar (it's randomly-generated based on your email address)

to change your avatar you can either :
1) link a 'Gravatar' image to your email address, that will give you a global avatar wherever you use that email
2) or upload yourself an image right here if you click on your username at the top, then on the 'avatar' tab

Videos

you can now embed videos! just paste in the page link from youtube, vimeo etc etc

Usernames

A few people had to have their usernames modified to work with the new system. I've emailed those affected, but if you find you have problems logging in then send me an email.

Big ups to chunkyrice for his dope artwork and help on the design (check out the illness at normal-industries.com)

Thanks to the bug testing crew for your help, much appreciated.

There probably are still a load of bugs around though so if you have any problems or questions then post em in here!

also - if you're using Internet Explorer 6, please don't, you're missing out on all the nice touches.

I didn't have the energy to spend another 3 days solid trying to make it look the same for IE6 as all the other browsers after already working on this forum since january. Use Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Konqueror... hell, even IE8. Anything but IE6 nooooooooo!!!!

hey man, quick question, if theres new posts in a topic tha i aint read, does the paper turn green? some of the pages are green others aint. used 2 be a red * nw im nt sure. lol. sorry if its a stupid question.

Looks like the PM's were a casualty as expected... everything else make it in the move?

oh damn!! I completely forgot about the PMs. I meant to give everyone a heads-up warning.

Especially like the little P quotes at the bottom... nice touch. At some point Double K popped up and told me to chill too ha ha. I like that

lol. cheers man, that blunt wrap did later get filled to tha brim and the mascot kept us entertained for hours. lol. i can now load pics up straight from laptop so loadsa mobile pics of random sh!t.

green pages are 'busy' topics, if you hover over the icons it should tell you. I'm not convinced how useful this is, let me know your opinions!

Unread posts should come up in bold.
The latest posts will always be up front on the main page.
You can also subscribe to RSS feeds for each forum or individual topics. I'm also going to try and hook up an RSS feed for the whole shabang so you can see whats new.

aha, the ones i havent read go BOLD i didnt notice tha feature i like that.

Like the tags section aswell, and archive section aswell.

Ive not used RSS feeds before so im gonna have a play with them, with regards too how busy a topic is, is it green when there have been many posts in a recent time, or does it go green when the posts reach 20 for example? it seems like a good feature, its also a very professional lookin forum now.
