There’s a line in Thes’ statement that makes me wonder, is he sick or something?

I'm so grateful for all of the music that Thes and Double have made but this is such a sad moment for me. I never got to see them live:(

He used the words “what little time I have left”, was this in a general context or is there something else I’m overlooking?

Sad for the fans but excited for Chris and his family. I'm trying not to read too much into his post but my take is that he is ready to hang up the PUTS hat and settle into something that allows him to be with his fam at all times. Touring and running every aspect of PL70/PUTS has to take a huge chunk of his time up and can only imagine the strain it puts on himself and family. Also, based on his IG storyline he just went through some crazy medical stuff with his daughter... I'm speculating this has solidified his conviction to hang it up.
Whatever the reason(s) I support Chris 100%, as I know you all do too. I'm very happy to hear that DubK is going to keep it going as Clinophobia just got me thirsting for more! Happy to and looking forward to supporting both homies in whatever lives endeavors they choose going forward... Forever The P! Their music lives on eternally!
Also... WELCOME to the forum EuanFazza!!!

Does anyone think we'll see sporadic instrumental releases a la Where The Piecelock ends?
How about what he plans to do professionally from here on out?
How hard is it going to be to buy the last album?

Thanks SLC Head! It makes sense to retire I suppose, finishing the album must have been a relief for him so he can focus on family. Best of luck to him.

Was sad to see his announcement, but at the same time, I'm so happy to have experienced his works and have seen him and Mike perform live. I think he will make more music, but not for our ears.
All Good Things...

I suspected that this would be the case, but that didn't make it any easier reading Thes' post yesterday. I don't get emotional too often but that did it!!
The London show is rocking hard right now. A friend who I haven't seen in a while just messaged me, saying he's at the show right now and thanks for introducing PUTS to him a few years back. I can't imagine a show that I would rather be at. Epic. Will be good to hear from the forum heads who are there.

I'm only new here but wanted to thank him for all the smiles he's given me listening to his work. Truly one of a kind.
Thank you -

The show was incredible and emotional! But I don't think you should read any more into what Thes said other than he needs a break for real and to be with his family. He said he daughter is going to be ok which is good news.
Also Double K said he will definitely be releasing music and out touring and DJing, so hopefully we'll see more of him soon!
