I have a new LP dropping this month and I’m happy to say that Thes One hooked it up with the vinyl mastering! So thankful that the P continue to be good people.

How does the vinly release work - is it a preorder or a crowdfunder type deal?

Yes I almost forgot, thanks for dropping in with the reminder! I saw your post on IG about this and got side tracked when I was heading to order. And BTW, that MPC claymation for It's All Good is so sick!!! Super creative and unique as hell. Order now has been completed!

Yo Abs! Can you share any more stories about creating the record and working with Emapea? Would love to hear a bit more of how this collaboration came to be...
(And speaking of collabs: whatever happened to the rumored R2 x K-Def project from a few years back?)
Po: Yes, it's a crowdfunded preorder of sorts. Looks as though the funding period ends in ~2 weeks though (the release has already surpassed its minimum of 200 pledges), so the vinyl should be going to press shortly after that. (DQMOT however - I've found qrates' projected pressing/shipping dates rather optimistic and somewhat unreliable in the past...)

Needless to say the package came through eventually and it's a great record. Production throughout by Emapea is smooth with some nice throwback touches and Kid comes nice with the lyrics. Vinyl mastered by Thes One (I'm not sure how much affect that has on the sound at all). Great job on the artwork too... recommended!
