   There are rumours that OST will be Hiphop Record of the Month for November at Vinyl Me Please.

   Although the releases for October, November and December are getting announced tomorrow, some eagle eyed Redditors / members of the Needle and Groove forum have found mockups for OST:

   

   I'm guessing someone might be a bit pissed at this development (I don't wanna get into that again)...

   ...but all I can say (if the rumours are true) is that I really hope it was done with Thes and Dub K's blessings.

   Anyways, if it does happen, and is to be released as one of the three ROTM's for Hiphop (and not a mid week store drop) then hopefully it'll be given the 'treatment' it deserves, with some really nice liner notes and pressed in a way that Thes approves of (I really hope PUTS have some kind of involvement with it).

   Looking forward to it... and really looking forward to some of the reactions from people who've not heard this masterpiece before!

   It has been confirmed, Thes and DubK are behind the release and it's a long story apparently... I hope we get to hear about that one day!

   That's a relief. It woulda sucked had it just been an OM thing without their involvement...

   ...you really piqued my interest with the comment about the story behind the release tho, hope the details do indeed come out

   really want to find out more. Is it remastered in any way? How has the rights with Om been worked out? Any other suprises?...

   Now, for the first time ever, they are reissuing long out-of-print, 2002 classic O.S.T. Has revamped gatefold gloss cover, updated liner notes & printed sleeves, and 100+ print reviews.

    Its an official Piecelock release and they managed to license back OST (I'm not sure if this means they hold the rights).

    Its great news that they are in control of / behind the release :)

    just saw that post today, and was super hyped! will definitely try to get a copy direct from the PUTS shop

    hey YoYoPo, just a thought...

    I know you don't send out emails (because I've never received one, and perhaps it isn't possible) but maybe you could make an email shot to forum members to let them know this release coming.

    I'm sure a few old time dormant fans would love to finally add this to their collection.

    not sure I can do that but there are a load of forum peeps all over this on instagram, so hopefully we got it covered. Plus this one isn't limited to a PL70 release so more people should see it via VMP / Fatbeats / other shops etc

    Crap I just picked it up 3 months ago for $150, the most i've ever spent on a record. I'm glad for you all who don't have it, I wish I had waited.

    I'm still kicking myself for not buying all my favorite albums on vinyl all these years. I was so caught up in digging and buying classics. Then I realized only about a year ago I wasn't actually DJ Shadow, and mountains of thrift store garbage with half a second of good drums were unlistenable and not what I wish I had.
