Haha, d*mn, you beat me to the punch! Sounds like you've got your hands full though. What were your impressions of Mass Effect 3?MrQc said:
See previous post SacI was working my way through all the Zelda games in chronological order (internal chronology of the series, not release date), and I got to Majora's Mask and hit a wall... good game, but I might have to skip it because it's so friggin' long and repetitive...

Yeah hands full of controllers Sac!!!
As for Mass Effect 3.....i liked it as i loved the other two and i found my choices in the previous games really effected the last game. I did feel however that it didn't really convey the sense of urgency in the game play that it was trying to in the storyline. i don't want to put any spoliers up but it was building to a massive all out battle for the universe but i could still chat up aliens and do as much scanning as i wanted without having to worry planets with being taken over.
What was good though is that a couple of my mates have played it and i got different ending choices to them.
Now Majora's Mask, i can understand why you would think like you do but honestly dude, i urge you to carry on......although no doubt OOT is the best MM comes damn close for me, its darker and has some very clever gameplay tricks in it. I am a massive fan of Skyward Sword to and for me its hard to pick out of the 3 as Skyward Sword also had great gameplay tricks and really used the Wiimote to its fullest.
Let me know if you carry on with it.....and enjoy the Zelda journey....its one of gaming best.

Sounds good. I STILL don't have an xbox, but Halo and Mass Effect and a few others are making me think I need to change that...
Yeah, I remember beating MM was really rewarding, but I already got through Skyward Sword, Minish Cap, Zelda I, Zelda II, Link's Awakening, and Ocarina of Time, and I REALLY want to get to Twilight Princess (I have both versions, but I think I like the GameCube version a little better)... that game was a classic too. Then it's on to Wind Waker and the DS games.
After that, I'm switching over to my favorite series of all time... Metroid, b*tches.

Well for a start it is nowhere as indepth as the full PC version, there is no media interaction, you don't get to make team talks before the match and the actual database of players and stats isn't as big. Apart from that at around £6 its a pretty good distraction.....the match engine works well and its pretty easy to buy and sell players. Overall if you don't have too much time to really get into the PC version then i would say this is worth a look. But don't expect it to be anywhere near as in depth.
I think i read somewhere that the next version will be pretty much the same as the PC version, but of course that will bring the same sort of price tag.
I was doing pretty well with Chelsea and won the League in my first season. The second seasons hasn't been as successful....but as we all know (well football fans anyway) i am dealing with an aging squad!!! Although not so old that they can't reach the Champions League Final......had to get that in there somewhere

Sactown I am loving your Zelda Timeline Mission.

Zelda MM and Zelda Twilight Princess are 2 of the next games I will be getting.
I have Metroid Prime (GC) and I haven't played that for ages (years and years) and I am thinking I will be starting that soon.
I am a little put off because you have to scan EVERYTHING and you can only save at the save points. I didn't get vary far last time I played LOL but I know there are some sweet levels with some dope graphics so I need to get a move on!But this week I have overdosed on Super Mario Sunshine
so taking it easy on the gaming front and getting on the decks instead
Peace.

Recently I went back to play Mass Effect on PC, originally I played it on the 360... Built up my character and am now moving on to Mass Effect 2. It's pretty cool how all your decisions effect future storylines... I guess that's why it's called Mass Effect, lol
And 2 is way better then the first so far, game plays more like a FPS!

There are aspects of Mass Effect 1 that i prefered over Mass Effect 2/3 in terms of how you could level up the character and weapons on a far more specific level....its was more akin to a classic RPG progression. However i do think the driving/tank sections in the first game were a pain and your right SLC the combat in Mass Effect 2/3 is much better than the first.
As i said on earlier posts i was very impressed on how the decisions made in the first two games effect the last one.

For sure man, I think that you are one of the few that actually utilized the game's components! I for one have a hard time using all the options that a game like ME1 has, the shortcut keys, always remembering to level up personal as well as gear... ME2 is a lot more automated in that respect, which for a gamer like me is a good thing. Auto Quick Slots and all that. I usually don't have the patience to look into every aspect of a game... unless it demands it, like Skyrim. I can see how if you were digging 1, that 2 would take a little away from the gameplay though. Either way, the game is crack and very enjoyable...

Can't rep Call of Duty Zombies enough. Its waaaayyy better than just regular Call of Duty. It has a storyline thats pretty cool and unique maps, perks, wonder weapons, etc. The main thing thats fun is playing with 3 other people and trying to survive while smoking bowls between rounds, drinking beers, and talking sh!t. Its fun. hehe Heres a video I made of a little routine I came up with on the map Five. Black Ops 2 is supposed to be announced today at some point.....

I now have 30 N64 games
And recently I have been playing Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Banjo Kazooie, Toy Story 2 and a few racing games like Ridge Racer 64 and Automobili Lamborghini.
I am kinda struggling on Zelda OoT in the Gerudo Fortress, I have rescued 2 carpenters but cannot find the others... Getting thrown in prison for like the 5th time just makes me quit playing... and I keep running out of arrows!
Any tips? Otherwise I will have to follow a guide and thats a bit boring.
Also where can I find the illegal lure for fishing?
I now have a SNES, but no controllers... but I found a boxed copy of Street Fighter II Turbo for £10 and I cannot wait to play that.
I went to a shop the other day that has loads of old games and figures and toys and things... they had Zelda MM in a box for £32.99 and when I asked to look at the N64 games the girl there told me she had found a Zelda MM cart at a car boot sale for 20p, cool!
