Thought I'd start a fresh thread since the second one has gotten big.

Big matchday on Saturday...Arsenal vs. Spurs! London Derby! I am truly excited about this match. It will air on ESPN2 here in the States at 6:45am my time. Great way to start the Saturday. Some football with my twins toddler boys. Hoping for a big Arsenal win. Arsenal can sit first in the table with a win, but would be short lived if Chelsea win their game.

What else is going on with the rest of the league? Transfer rumors are warming up with the January window fast approaching. Will we see a mass exodus from Man City? A lot of injuries piling up for some teams. Chelsea appears thin. Liverpool suing the English FA over Gerrard's injury in the friendly?

Nah man its cool.
When I watched the North London Derby with my gooner mate at the weekend I told him about you getting up at 6:45am to watch. He was impressed.
You havent got ahead of yourself dude, its good to see you getting excited and enjoying one of Englands finest exports... apart from David Bowie prehaps? lol.

The last few seasons Arsenal have had the game there for the taking and just thrown it away.
I thought they might have grown out of it by now.

You watching the Champions League game tonight against Braga?

Me getting up at 6:45am is no major feat. I have twin toddler boys and a 4 month old daughter. I'm up EVERY day at about 6:00am. Just so happened this week's game was on ESPN2 and I could watch it on the TV instead of streaming it on the computer.

Me getting ahead of myself meant that maybe I was getting too antsy over the prospects of Arsenal being in first place that I jinxed the game lol

I will have the Champions League game playing in the background on my work PC, just listening to it with the occasional quick glance at the gameplay.

There seems to be some major turmoil and shake up happening with Arsenal after the loss to Spurs. Don't know whether that's good or bad. Thoughts?

As an aside, what do you know about Queens Park Rangers? I've decided to play a Career Mode in FIFA 11 with them. I really like two of their players, Hogan Ephraim and Adel Taarabt. My "liking" them is based solely on using them in FIFA Ultimate Team. I think I'll start watching QPR games when I can too. Also, what other teams are located near Arsenal?

WTF is wrong with Arsenal?!?!?! Losing to Braga on a late goal and then to top it off their player takes on two of our defenders on a long run and then rifles a shot off the top cross bar and in past Fabianski to end the game 2-0. Amazing goal. But damn, this Arsenal team is real soft right now. The slightest thing doesn't go their way and they break. How are you a paid professional athlete and putting in performances like that last few games? Where's the pride? The heart? The toughness? The gusto? I don't see any of that. I see a bunch of people dribbling around and passing and not taking shots. These brittle ass players that need to sit out months at a time for getting tripped only to get back on the pitch and sulk their way through their substitution. Go hard or go home! Tired of this sh!t.

Ah QPR, they play at 'Loftus Road' they are nearly as rich as City I think.
They are an ex Premier League team and have had some good players like Trevor Sinclair...

They currently sit 5 points clear at the top of the championship.

5... Norwich... 19... 5..... 30

Thats the top 6 teams as at 01/12/10 in the Championship, all of those 6 teams barring the Welsh ones (Cardiff and Swansea) are all ex Premier League teams.

I think QPR are a relatively well liked team, they always have cool kits.
I have a bit of a soft spot for 'em, I think quite a few fans do.

Back in the day they were one of my teams on FIFA 97!

I took a liking to QPR from playing FIFA 11. Got Hogan Ephraim in for a Bronze team i Ultimate Team. Wanted to start a new Career Mode with a challenge so chose a Championship team to bring up. Low and behold, QPR was sitting right there. Had a huge game against Cardiff City last weekend. Great atmosphere as I watched some of it.

speaking of great atmosphere... There was a great atmosphere at the City of Manchester Stadium last night when City won 3-0
It was £5 a ticket and children £1. It wasnt full but it was freezing and snowing most of the game.

The City fans took a shine to the Brazilian Alan of Red Bull Salzburg... even urging him to shoot hahaha.
Poor dude must have been so confused.
Singing his name, asking for a wave which I believe he granted.

Adam Johnson scored another great goal, this time on his right AND he wasnt even wearing gloves!!
'ard! Milner had a good game and was also gloveless!
lol.

Funny how you call FIFA money hungry yet the England and USA bids were set to be the most profitable of all of them. Well I guess you mean money hungry as in their jacket pockets lol

It sucks for me because of the huge time zone differences in 2018 and 2022. Moscow and Qatar are 9 hours ahead.

Atleast 2014 is in Brazil so they'll be only 4 hours ahead. Which still sucks because games would be starting while I'm at work more than likely.
