Yup, on Joyride, it's definitely "necks"... Fixed it before I left for work this morning!

Lyrics for Noonen's tracks up: http://www.thepointoftherhyme.com/soloreleases/noonen.htm
EDIT: I also got "Shine On" and "Tricky Trakes" up... I'll get to the other three Bloquera tracks tomorrow... most likely.

Yo dawg.. I think it is " send letter home, the kid’s coming of age" instead of ten-letter. I can definitely hear S there! What do you say? Nice work anyways! I was thinking also that you could put the Behind the beat- book/CD under the Crazy Live http://www.discogs.com/DJ-Ransom-Behind-The-Beat/release/2293529 or something...I dunno if you noticed my comment on page before this.

Woooooooow, that's actually funny: ever since I started listening to this track, I've always thought it was "ten letter home" (maybe referring to California... ten letters, y'see), so I never really questioned it... now that you said "send" though, I CAN hear the "s", and actually, that makes a whole lot more sense in the line... aiiiite, Finland, you got yourself a correction.Saakki said:

Sorry, I forgot to mention your link... that does look bad-*ss, and I'll definitely consider your proposal of throwing it up on the site. I've been so focused on getting the last few lyrics pages done that I've been all tunnel vision-y about it.

Dude hopefully you don't think I'm pushing you to do something..quite opposite. Just wanted to post stuff that came to my mind here before I forget them myself. Just want to share my thoughts to the mastermind who is doing such a great job putting that site together and getting all the lyrics up! Beers on me..it is weekend! And I'm glad I can help.

Naw, I didn't feel pressure from you; I felt it from myself... I'm my own worst critic sometimes... that voice in my head was, like, "Oh yeah: Dude, you forgot to respond to Saakki's post. You suck!"... but yeah, I hear voices in my head, and sometimes I have to ignore them: "Go buy up all 2,000 copies of Highlighter vinyl!"

As if I haven't already assigned myself enough to do, there's a third "front page" index on my site with quite a few new links (most of them still not working), so now it's as follows:
- Main Release Index (official PUTS albums and singles)
- Instros & Promos Index (this is the new one, I want to have room when the "Ten Years of Thes One" comes out)
- Solos & Others Index (Thes and Double stuff, unofficial releases, misc.)
I've also got pages up for the all the instros I have listed so far, and I put up album/lyrics pages for the Olde Soul/Double K 7".
EDIT: So just to tally it up, that's 262 lyrics pages and 48 releases pages.
Now that I've had that little diversion, I've got to finish up Bloquera and Doin' It!!

man, Sactown you're basically trying to make the old version of this website. All the lyrics and articles and interviews ahahaha... ah man that was a lot of work, I'd advise against it! Still meaning to get all that stuff back online at some point maybe

Alright, so all Bloquera tracks are up now (although I could really use a help out on Superbrush 427's Spanish verse in "Fiesta"... no hablo español).
That essentially makes the core of my site complete. Promos and PUTS-guested tracks are not done yet, but obviously, these aren't as important as the other stuff.
Also, the P.U.T.S. Search Engine on my main page is refreshed and fully operational. I highly suggest you use it. It will search http://www.thepointoftherhyme.com, http://www.putsonline.co.uk, and pl70.net, all at the same time, so it's sorta your one-stop PUTS shop for finding things.
Finally (not that you probably care all that much), I've validated all my HTML markup on every page, so my coding is now error-free and tight, so there shouldn't be any viewing issues.

Holy sh!t Sactown, the amount of work you put into this site is incredible...
Small correction for Uprock Boogie:
"I’m up late, all up in that milk crate silhouette
Rap pre inning and still ain’t hit the pillow yet" I think Thes says "pre-internet" -
Posted 10 years ago #
Thanks, eightbit! I took a look at your correction, and changed it to "Rapped pre-internet", which would make a whole lot more sense. Thanks, man!
So tonight, I put in a bit more work and did the following:
- The "About tPotR" page is now written and up (just threw this together tonight in the last 30 minutes, tell me if I sound like an idiot): http://www.thepointoftherhyme.com/about-tpotr.htm
- Both the "OST Party Sampler" and "Snippets and Shenanigans" promo CDs have been transcribed, and they now both have release and lyrics pages (they are both listed here: http://www.thepointoftherhyme.com/index3.htm)
- Small change: all Forum and PL70 banners on the site now open a new tab/window when clicked instead of navigating you away from my site... you know I have a hard time letting go

More updates from tonight (all of them accessible from this page):
- Put up album pages for the "Mustache Soul" and "Original Sounds & Tracks" compilations
- Transcribed the Fun DMC Press Promo Mix that P.U.T.S. did for the press.
- Transcribed and embedded both the "Rick James, B-Boy From Buffalo" and "Carried Away Snippets" YouTube clips (with an option to read the transcription in a separate window while you watch the video).
By my estimation, I have 14 pages left to do, and then the site will be 100% complete for all intents and purposes, and anything else after that would only be embellishment...

Huh, this thread didn't get bumped to the top of the recent threads list again (probably too many links added... I'm a SPAMMER!)

On 'Jamboree, Pt. 1'
[Phill Most Chill:] … I’ll be there, don’t eat up all the good sh!t, like, just save me, like, just one rib and I’m good, alright? Alright, then, dog, peace…
I thought he said something like "Alright Thunder, peace"... as in Thes being Thunder Thumbs?!
I dunno
