Posts: 1,879Posted 14 years ago #Yo it's ALL good, no need for an apology from pl70 crew... you can hear the disappointment in Thes' voice but seriously you can't rush perfection, I DEF appreciate the effort y'all are putting into this and every other release you do! Seriously though it could be another month or two(not saying that it would be easy) and I would still be waiting patiently for the new P masterpiece... And yes Thes is right when he says we expect a lot from the production/mastering side. I always know that when I listen to a P album I can slam the volume no matter what type of system I am listening to and not get a lick of distortion. With that said, I'm happy to hear this will still be the case!

Seriously, anyone even slightly disturbed by this decision needs to go back to "The Grind" on Fun DMC (one of my favorites on that album), and bump it multiple times until they are chilled out.

We're probably the most extreme, loyal and understanding fans the P have. It will come when it's ready and when it does, it will be presented the way Thes One and Double K envisioned it. Until then we can all bump AMV1, The Next Step, QFA, OST, Or Stay Tuned, Stepfather, Fun DMC, and carried Away.

Thanks for the Email, as much as i am excited, hyped and was so looking forward to today i completely understand why you have made this choice and actually applaud you for it as other artist's would've have taken the easy option. In a weird, strange way this has made me even more excited to hear the new album and i am sure i can last another few days.
I've got 7 other great PUTS albums to listen to anyway.
Thanks for keeping us updated and thanks for all the hard work.

I think it's awesome that everyone here is so supportive of the P no matter what. For all the work that they put into Highlighter, they should take as much time as they need, honestly.
Also, Sac, you're going to be at the Fillmore show? Me too! Any other P fans going?

Also this is the great thing about the whole PL70 thing imo. You don't have to answer to a label or some sh*t forcing you to release something even if you weren't 100% with it, you have the control to say 'hang on a minute... that aint quite right, lets go back in on it for a couple more days'. You only answer to yourselves and the fans, and this is in the interest of giving the fans a better product/album so good on you!Thanks for letting us know the score.

No problems, im going into a week long meditation so that it will only feel like seconds, i am of a higher state of concisness and time is only a perception which we can change if we only concentrate!!!
Take as long as you need guys, i know it will be the musical dope when it gets released, also, as mark01v said, at least you aint got a label forcing you to release a product your not 100% with!
