mini ipod thes auctionStarted 14 years ago by davalo7 / toggle topic info
after some mix up at the post office i finally got my hands on this thing, and i must say it has some of the dopest beats i've ever heard.
what's the deal with those Baron beats? those are so dope!
has it got the beats from the Rootdown soundclash - you'll know what I mean if one of them is that Jackson 5 track
also - what instrumentals did you get dude?
thes loaded a bunch, but i asked for sf knights, plunken'em the breakdown, suite for beaver pt2, 43 labels i like, but i ended up getting suite for beave pt1 and gave me the dig instrumental and named it 43 labels i like.
all the tracks are dope. of all the p releated tracks about half of them are new to me.
yeah - one of the is the jackson 5 - there are about 5 beats from that soundclash all of them dope.
there's also a version of slow bullet with thes rhyming. he sounds like he's about 14 years old.
Slow Bullet is QUA-LI-TY, can't wait to hear that 1 day
Dav... Hows the original SF Knights...the one Thes mentioned on the auction about them doing before they did the one on The Next Step? Man if I could've afforded that ipod... I would just stay in the house listening to that all the time haha... But yeah if you could go into some detail about the orig. SF that'd be tight! Thanks man,
i almost sold my left nut for that i-pod.........
Dude...You outbidded me by 5 bucks!!!
I HATE YOU
Hahaha, you gotta admit that is some funny sh!t!
Suite for beaver pt.2 is after Suite for beaver pt.1 but on the same track (just keep listening)
Damn did I forget to put SF knights on there?
That's nutty. That's a priceless item though. I'm surprise it didn't go for more, but... wow. I would love to have the instrumental for "The Dig." That's my favorite song about diggin'. My birthday is coming up... *wink wink*
You were right about suit for beaver i just didn't listen to it all. but you jacked me - i only got the SF Knights instrumental i want a rebate- haha. that's cold blooded
Yo man, i'm sorry to do you like that, but there was no way i was going to lose this auction.
About the iPod, the unreleased album is fresh. there are beats on it that are so dope, and of course the original slow bullet like WHOA!!
There are also some project blowed freestyles which are dope as well. Thes one live at the rootdown is so fresh.....the 4 beats he included - whoa!
there were also a few extra beats that thes put on which are, in the words of thes "Pumpin'!"
If fairness to myself and thes one & double k - to quote thes, "I worked too damn hard for you to f***ing download it.", and i paid a grip - any requests for songs will be denied. i'm not hating just appreciating. i'm truly sorry, but i hope you all can respect that. maybe i'll set up a streaming playlist for people it listen to if it's ok with thes.
Yeah SF Knights instrumental/ orignal beat same thing... you know what I mean.
Aside from Mike and I you are the only person in the world with it.
thanks for the propers, I think I was about 16 years old on Slow Bullet. I had just made that beat on a computer and dropped that verse (including awful references to the LA Riots, Oj Simpson, etc.)
With all that In your hands I reckon you are worthy of curating some sort of playlist for streaming, but not everything! I personally like Captain Purple alot, can't stand listening to slow bullet, love the blowed freestyles, etc. etc.
Ahh the good ole days.
Big Thes! I thought Slow Bullet was produced on your gemini sampler... but you mentioned something about doing it on your computer? Also, what was your mic setup...just straight into the mixer..etc etc? Cuz I just made some beats and I just hook up my mic to my Numark mixer and go from there. I'm still figuring out how to master my sound onto my tape deck haha! Alright thanks a lot and have a good one.
Thes, Do you ever think you will do something like this again? Or even sell some of the music that was on the ipod at peicelock?
