P.U.T.S. EUROPEAN TOUR 2006Started 14 years ago by YoYoPo / toggle topic info
You guys rely need to give us some def clue concerning the gig in Zurich. Play on the concrete streets or something JUST get by and play somewhere in Switzerland, people are waiting for nothing, but you, guys!
guys I don't think the switzerland show is happening. ask your local promoters / venues why not so next time PUTS can come through. peace.
I guess ur right... holy sh!t, this would have been the coolest gig of the year..
Way looking forward to the Manchester show on 16th October- bring it on!
Been trying to get in touch with the Liverpool venue "The Magnet", without much luck. They're listing doors at 10pm and closing at 5am. Anybody give me any idea what times PUTS are likely to be on stage?
If they're playing an after hours show then that's cool, but if I'm going to miss the last train home I need to arrange a crash at a mate's.
By the way: Hello everybody, I'm Django
The Manchester gig was Rockin McLaughlin' - one of the best gigs I've been at: up there with Stereolab, Joyce, and Edan.
GP rocked the place, and PUTS were superb throughout! The last time I saw The P was in Newcastle in 2002, in a venue with dodgy acoustics - this was the real deal, entertaining and funky as hell from start to finish. I can't imagine how it could've been any better (except if they had've played 'We'll Be There' and 'Out Da Club' ).
There was a hilarious moment at the end, when two birds from the crowd (who'd been dancing onstage during Hang Loose) attempted an impromtu 'amateur' DJ set, when Thes & KK left the stage! They didn't last too long!
