A Tribute to Michael "Double K" Turner

A very special beer brewed in memory of the brother, husband, partner, and humble servant of the funk Double K. Mikey would have appreciated a celebration of his life - no wallowing - and what better way to get the party started than with a 10% heavy hitter. Double dry hopped with Citra, Enigma, Mosaic, Galaxy, and Topaz hops, Humanity, Rock On is a strong yet drinkable brew saturated with tropical fruit character.

While bringing everyone together physically is not possible during this time, we wanted to make the celebration much more than just a beer. I spent last week coming up with a special 4 pack can design that can be put up on the shelf when you’re done, but even better, we invite you all to a virtual celebration on Twitch, Sunday, March 21st starting at 4:20 PST. Has anyone ever tried Coopers 'Original Pale Ale'...otherwise known as 'Green Cap'?
The P clearly rate it...see Thes on the front cover of Fun DMC!

This is a link to a rare remix of the song Beer. The "Who wants a 40" and "It was a Friday night" parts are in there but the verses are different from the Carried Away version.

My friend Andy (who also posts on this board) was in San Francisco recently, and while he was there he made it a point to visit Om Records. He walked in a got a mini-tour of the place from someone who worked there, and when before he left he told the worker that the only reason he visited Om Records was because he was a huge fan of the P.U.T.S. The worker replied "then let me give you something to leave with...." and he grabbed a 45 of this song and said that only 1,000 of them were pressed. Andy is in Chile now and he gave me the 45, and I ripped it to my computer and threw it up on Youtube.

The record was made for promotional use only, so I hope I'm not breaking the law / pissing off Thes and KK.

Please listen to it, the song is super dope. It just goes to show how amazing the P is and how one of their B-sides is better than most modern Hip-Hop (imo).
