Yeah both of those were really great.

Got me listening to a few other podcasts. So far listened to and can definitely recommend
- The House List with Brian Coleman. This guy is a legendary hip hop journalist and it's super interesting.

- Combat Jack with Dante Ross. Definitely one of the best hip hop interviews I've heard. The dude has been there since day one (original Def Jam A&R guru, signed ODB etc etc), knows all the characters and is funny too.

- The Stretch and Bobbito show. They just started this recently but man have I missed these guys. Super funny and humble and hilarious dudes. The one with Chance the Rapper is dope.

Both interviews were very interesting & it's good to hear we'll get at least one more album from PUTS. I don't think we'll see anymore tours in Europe which is a shame but I totally understand why. Personally I'd liked to have hear a bit more about the music in the second part as it seemed he was going to talk a bit more about highlighter then went into the eco-vinyl rant. But I always enjoy hearing what Thes has to say.

Finally finished the first interview - fascinating stuff.

Sad to hear the DJ Vadim tale as I've got some Vadim stuff from way back when. I was aware he didn't like him but never knew why...until now! Obviously the saddest thing for me is that it sounds like he's well and truly done with Europe. I see where he's coming from but there are fans over hear who would love to see them one more time. Hope springs eternal...

I love that sample session.

I had to listen to A LOT of Taylor Swift this summer holiday in the car with the kids and I've just shown my eldest daughter (8) the clip.
She liked it...but sadly not as much as the original!

Last time I went in there was not only Cool Chris but also Oliver Wang was shopping before a gig. The same Oliver Wang that was threatened on O.S.T. and then became buddies with Thes later. I got a chuckle out of it.

What a great interview in totality! So many back stories and reference explanations that I am having a hard time keeping track of them all. I love the story about Cool Chris at the Groove Merchant in SF, that is one of my all time favorite rec shops to visit in the entire US! IF you're ever in SF and find yourself near Haight, you should definitely make a concerted effort to drop in. Quality not quantity is the way his shop is, probably the smallest shop I've ever visited as well.

I am so happy to hear we will get part 3... And as a full album?!?!? Buzzing.
Thes is a good dude man. Could have listened for hours on end. I absolutely detest Will I Am for no other reason than his smarmy face, so to hear he is a actually a dick made me happy also, ha ha.
From both episodes, I am not holding out much hope... But would love a final Euro tour just so we can show our appreciation for all the brilliant, beautiful, funny and down right dope music they have given us as PUTS. and if not, guess me and the family will have to go to the US. Need to see them one more time.
