Im so excited! lol. but back to the topic at hand... have ya'll seen any natural phenomena, disasters or anything?? I have seen a small tornado (VERY rare in Sacramento, it was a cool experience to say the least) but thats about all I've ever seen besides like snow ha. I was in the middle of a minor earthquake on the coast (my dad/aunt own a house in Tomales/Bodega Bay)... I was the only one in the house that woke up (happened in the middle of the night), and no one believed me 'til I showed them the news story. Actually, there's a cemetary not too far from that same house that was in the 1906 SF earthquake, and it looks FREAKY. I think they used it to film Village of the Damned or Children of the Corn or one of those movies...

I also sat by myself on a bench in the middle of the pitch-black UC Davis arboretum and watched a HUGE meteor shower once (there was a meteor every 2-5 seconds). So peaceful.

Hopefully it won't be too cloudy for that eclipse. I wanna peep it.
