I hadent ever seen this stuff until this summer. Before I left for the west coast, they sold it in gas stations/head shops in Madison. I had seen it in Colorado and other states along the way. In San Diego...it seems very common. Apparently, its most practical use is to smoke without the worry of a positive drug test. This is why you may of heard of people in the military using it.

The first time i tried it...i noticed similar effects to that of the sweeeet marrrry jane!!! but with a few major differences. First off, the high was very intense at first...similar to being really stoned...this wasnt so bad of a effect i guess. But afterwards I sometimes would get a headache...get really tired. One of my friends doesnt smoke the real stuff...but enjoys spice...so its been around lately.

Last night, after "spicing up my life" as we say...lol I did some research on what exactly this sh!t is! What I found didnt sit that well...and im not gonna be using this sh!t ever again.

From what I was reading...a german researcher did a study years back. The chemical "fingerprint" was not a match to what was listed on the back of the package. Many times these "spices" are listed as 100% organic herbs/etc....even the guy at one of the smoke shops here in town was saying that it was organic. What the study found was that there was indeed traces of "synthetic chemicals" that are designed to mimic the effects of THC. Some of which are listed as being 100-500x more potent than THC. This could explain the "intense" feeling i described.

From what I was reading...this "spice" was first found being sold under that name in unnamed places in Europe. The harmful effects are still listed as TBD...which worries me.

The conspiracy theorist in me feels like this could be some "mind control" sh!t the government has cooked up in order to make the public retarded!! Also, chemically addicting properties are apparently found in spice....which also draws some concern. I am also concerned that people will start smoking the in order to pass drug tests...which then turn to addictions!

I always was told that cannabis did not posses any chemically addicting properties...i do not know if that is true...but i would assume so...because i feel when i want to stop smoking for a bit...im never freakin out or anything.

What I want to know...is other peoples thoughts on this sh!t...past experiences...anything you have heard...good or bad

...but i think its safe to say "ive spice'd up my life for the last time!" hahahahahaha
