Man, I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer kind of guy, but I can't help but think how much Sactown is missing out on all these releases. Or, how he'd have the inside scoop on some of them and would bless us with his info.

Not Debbie Downer - I've especially been thinking about Sactown in the context of TGOS3 and aside from all the other associated thoughts and emotions I wish too he could be here to see how things play out, particularly when he contributed to the project. Like Thes, I'm not really a man of organized religion - but maybe he's right along there with us in another realm and free from any pain. At least, that's my hope.

Coincidentally, I finally got my hands on one of the 10YOTO box sets last night after sleeping on it - I didn't even give the tracks a proper listen yet. I did, however, spend the better part of the evening reading the booklet with all the content from Thes but also enjoyed seeing so many familiar names and contributions at the end from here, including Pat's.

Keep in mind I'm only taking a wild guess about it being the 12SP commercial - it might be something else entirely. It'd be SO dope though, wouldn't it? I've secretly nurtured hopes it might be released on a 7" or something ever since we found out the track wasn't on the album...

This Redef partnership has been awesome - they're churning stuff out but doing so with high-quality. TGOS2 and the instrumentals are beautiful.

Thes also mentioned somewhere that Where the Piecelock Ends would be coming on vinyl, too. That and Mike's SP12 joint are in the pipeline.

Aye, it was a long old wait...and at times I questioned my sanity!

The Jehst is 'Reel It In' feat. Lee Scott & Strange U (from way back on RSD).
I wouldn't say it was a classic, but always good to support him...he's produced some cracking tracks over the years.

So this post technically isn't about the instrumental LPs, but did anyone else happen to notice the flexi disc in one of the latest Redef pictures (see below)?

Not a huge fan of flexis (for all the obvious reasons), but seeing that this one features a logo similar to the gothic script sweat Double was rocking in the 12SP commercial vid I'm pretty excited about the idea that track might be getting some sort of physical release after all..!?!
Am I being completely nuts/overly hopeful..?
