true, but sometimes i never wanna go software, because hardware has that "sound" when its passed through "real" filters. Wether its a tube or just a piece of the hardware inside. It just has that "feel" Like tape. I have stuck to hardware and prolly will forever, because i havnt seen anything out there on a computer that will make me choose over my hardware.

Very true Alibi.
I use both.

Got me my MPC60 because I absolutely love what it does to my drums. But it is VERY limited in the effects and editing department so I bounce my drum tracks to my PC.

I discovered fruity loops 2.5 at a ripe age of 14. Thanks to DJ Dinoh who sent me a demo copy over AIM way back when.

I done sold that a few weeks back.
I've found that my Filter's on my software are pretty damn good, infact..I like them a LOT better than the MFC. MFC sounded good and all but, it didn't have exactly what I wanted.

I just copped an Akai MFC42 Analog Filter Module for 199.00 from the TLab(the P's favorite record reviewing crew O!)But um, anyone have and thoughts about this, I read some articles about it and from what I hear it is worth the purchase. Anyone have an hands on experience with one?
