Like Optimus said, it wasn't as good as Quality Control or Power in Numbers but it was still good. Well, at least I enjoyed it. Kinda surprised to see all the hate towards that album. Ah well.

Good on you murph,

good to see someone with a positive opinion.
J5 just came to the plate with a new sounding style, something different from their old sh!t. You cant HATE on them for trying new sh!t and being different.
Yeah i agree, song with dave mathews is my least favourite on the album, you can tell its is the song directed to the mainstream and to get a bit of radioplay.
good on them, they deserve a bit of radioplay and some commercial appreciation before they call it a day. They gotta feed their kids and look after themselves financially at the end of the day.
They have given all the mainstream people one last chance to pick up on what they got going before they go their own ways, that way when they all re-surface with solo projects, some extra people that didn't before will take notice and get on their tip with the rest of all of us.

cant wait for Fish outta water ( if that whats its gonna be called ) and all the other side projects that are bound to follow..

This is terrible news!
I agree that Feedback is nowhere near the level of their first two LPs, but it is a great album in its own right. The only track I can't stand is that one with Dave Matthews, and not even because of him (I'm a fan of DMB), but because of that f***ing wood block sound that kicks every like 3 seconds - it's so annoying that now once I've noticed it I can't listen to the song anymore.

Hopefully the Chali 2Na album drops sometime soon, and has some good ol' funky Cut Chemist beats on it.

Yeah, there is a lot of negative opinions flying around,

DONT BELIVE IT, BUY IT AND MAKE YOUR OWN MIND UP.

Its the least everyone could do for J5, after all they have done for us, and hip hop.
The album only cost $14 when came out in Australia ( for those who dont know, that is DIRT cheap ), and im sure its a lot cheaper in the states.....
I gonna get a copy of the instrumentals as soon as I see a copy around somewhere and have the spare cash, some of the beats are really fat and would be great to beat juggle. I have doubles of "in the house" and I tell you that is some quality sh!t to beat juggle.

Depsite this most prob being true, i hope somehow it doesnt happen, as these guys have done so much for hip hop and in my eyes are one of the greatest performing hip hop groups of all time.
They represent the old school better than anybody.

I have heard so many negative opinions about feedback, and I couldnt disagree more with them.
I know it isn't as good as previous releases ( well nothing could compare to Quality Control ), its still an awesome album.

Just listen to the songs:

1. Back 4 You
5. In The House
10. Future Sound
12. Red Hot
15. Canto De Ossanha

Just to name a few.
You cant listen to this album, and say that these songs aren't good, if u do, u dont know hip hop or even good music. if you think the lyrical content is not as of as high quality as the others, your totally wrong. In "feedback" they pay tribute to the founders and pioneers of hip hop more than ever ( with songs like Turn it Up, On the radio ), if you cant at least respect that, u are disrespecting hip hop.
If anything the lyrical content is as good as all of the older albums, and as emcees they have improved so much,
This was proved to me when I saw J5 two weeks ago at Good Vibes in SYD, and they were as good if not better than the other 4 times I have seen them before.
Nu-mark held down the decks like a champion and you couldn't have asked for a tighter set. I also saw Nu-mark at an after party and it was insane the sh!t he was spinning and mxing up.
Anyone dissing J5 should be ashamed of themselves simply for the fact of who they are and what they have done for all of us with their music.
So all you people dissing J5 and feedback, go and produce a better album, and rock a crowd harder than J5 do, then you can talk sh!t about them.
