Before the show in SLC the other night I was talking with Thes about the new album, whats in the works, etc. Some key points I'm excited to pass on
1. Ste. for Reefer sounds like 3 songs because theres 3 songs in there. All three beats in the song have their own song as well!
2. We can be expecting about 7 songs on the upcoming release, those 3 songs included, as well as the 12sp commercial song.
3. There will be an instrumental release of 12sp.
4 Thes really wants to put out a copy of 12sp with creator commentary on each track.

The 12 step program continues! Super happy to hear that they'll be doing another post-album EP release like they did with Highlighter, and this one sounds even better. If we get some kind of deluxe 12sp with instros and commentary, I'll be buggin' like a cockroach.

Thanks for asking them about this. This last time I hung out with the cats, we were talking about so much other stuff, that I practically forgot about the 12sp questions I had. Derp.

Thes didn't mention any sort of time frame. They just finished touring though, so I guess that works in our favor!
He said that first smooth beat is its own song. He could have misspoke about it being 3 beats, because its 4 beats for sure. I could imagine any 2 of the other 3 beats could be mixed pretty easily as one for a total of three though.
