Here's the way I understand it: Around 2000, Fatlip recorded a bunch of demos, and he even released a single ("What's Up, Fatlip?" b/w "Goldmine"). The two tracks on the single are hilarious (look for "Worst Case Scenario" too, great song). For some reason, though, he never released the album he was thinking about doing.

Then in 2005, he finally released the album. So much good material... "Joe's Turkey", "Freaky Pumps (feat. Shock G)", etc. The song you're thinking about it "Today's Your Day (Wachagondu?)"; it was on Yeah Right!... he originally recorded it by himself (probably back in 2000), but left a huge instrumental section in, almost like he was waiting for a guest rapper. Well, Chali 2na stepped in, and recorded in the instrumental part, and the result is a classic. And it's on the solo.

A lot of the tracks were made by J-Swift (who did almost everything on Bizarre Ride). Go cop it. The only song I'm not super crazy about on that album is "All on Fly"... the rest are the sh!t.

All this talk about The Pharcyde reminds me... Anyone ever get a chance to check out Fatlip's solo a few years back? TheLoneliest Punk? It's no Bizarre Ride, but it's still got a lot of good tracks.

Also, if you get the Spike Jonze Director's Label DVD, they have the "What's Up, Fatlip?" video and a fresh 30-min Fatlip documentary where talks about a lot of things, like being caught up in fame, the story behind his verse on Oh sh!t, hanging out in a diaper and trenchcoat on Pico, etc. Do I sound like a commercial? Just wondering if you peeped it.

Hahaha, I just f*ckin love Creepshow.
Everytime I listen to it, I just crack up.
Just a fantastic, almost mysterious-like beat, and the lyrics are so weird but cool.
