im assuming "unreleased items" mean a bunch of throwaway sh!t and not PUTS goodies...

Yeah, it'll probably either be extra singles by other bands (which isn't all bad... the J Boogie/Crown City Rockers 7" of "Alive" that I got was pretty good), or you'll get what I got: three 12" PUTS singles for "The Cat", "Acid Raindrops", and "Youth Explosion"...

if you get something really nice, let us know, man.

Yeah, Garwin wanted a response when I got it all, so I came straight up honest with him, and I said (and I quote):

"Hey Garwin,

The four records are all in EXCELLENT condition (no bent corners, shrink-wrapped, etc.), and I'm very happy about that. Already played two of them.

There was NOT a signed poster in the box, however... I triple-checked.

At this point, though, I'm cool with whatever happens. If you guys don't have one, that's that. If you still have one, it would be nice to receive it, but... I mean, the transaction's closed as far as I'm concerned. My mood right now is more mostly satisfied with a hint of "oh, that sucks", rather than full-blown upset. Just let me know.

But as I said, the rest of everything is exactly as I expected, so many many thanks for helping me with that.

I know you think I'm probably letting 'em "get off easy" by being so nice, but like I said: Garwin, as an individual, handled me with respect, so I'll give him the same, and there's absolutely no reason to kick someone on the way out the door, so I should just end it smoothly, and if they want to take that extra step, then I'm cool...

Got my Om apology package in the mail.

? Shrink wrapped copy of Carried Away on LP was in perfect condition. Excellent.
? They gave me The Cat, Youth Explosion, and Acid Raindrops 12" singles as the "apology"... but they are the "limited edition repressings" with the black cover, so that kinda sucks... what sucks even more is that I already own all three of these, so now I have shrink-wrapped doubles that I don't need. Maybe I can sell them, and use the money to buy the original pressings (with the real covers) that I wanted to get in the first place...
? From Garwin Lu's email: "We'll make sure the following goes out to you: PUTS LP, Puts Acid Raindrops 12", Puts Youth Explosion 12", Puts The Cat 12", Signed Poster"... there's no signed poster. I triple checked the box.

So yeah. The good, the mediocre, and the sh*tty, all in one neat package.

I'm gonna call tomorrow morning and bitch at them...it ain't right to pay that much and then not get all the promised items!

I never actually got a number... He called me... But let me go through those emails again once I'm at my desk at work (instead of on my celly on the bus, haha), I THINK he might've left it somewhere...
