Day today is good, it was before brass eye, so it's less polished I guess. But definitely worth a watch. And definitely check out Nathan Barley too, that has chris morris all over it.

Was hilarious how they rounded up all the kids and put them in a stadium to protect them from paedophiles, but some how a paedo managed to sneak past the security... Also the paedo map of the UK was hilarious!

man, I've been waiting to see this film for about 3 months! Can't wait. Chris Morris is an absolute legend. Brass Eye paedophile special was seriously one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen. If you condemn something you haven't even seen then you should be quiet...

When you see that photo Lunchbox has posted it brings back the feelings of that day.

I remember being a bit sketch about getting the bus home from work that day even tho i was an hour and a half away from London via train.

One of them punks could have got lost... you know what our public transports like.

Surely tho if we can laugh at that then the terrorists might think its not worth their while.

This reminds me of the joke Rich Hall made about English people being at the bus stop the next day moaning about the bus being late.

I went to see the movie on friday, and it was hilarious and harrowing at the same time. I don't want to sound all intellectually elitist and sh!t, but I don't think a lot of people got it. They were laughing at the harrowing bits...

I left the cinema feeling very weird. I laughed, and then felt terrible for laughing, I've never really had that kind of sensation before. It's a very strange film, and it's destined to be a classic. Definitely go and see it...

On the rant tip, why do americans clap at the end of a movie? That sh!t pisses me off no end... There were a whole bunch of em in the cinema.

Also, I don't think this movie will go down well in the states at all. It's too weird and satirical I think.

Truth is, you cant offend the dead, they dont give a sh!t, only the living care about stuff like that.

I think comedys changing, the time between tragic events and acceptable time for "jokes" has decreased drastically, family guy has hinted at 9/11 "WOW, must of been a female pilot" but never taken it further.

honestly, im sort of glad theres people like chris morris pushing boundries, hes only doing what other comidiens will do in three years anyways (look at Ali G, Face Jacker, Etc, Chris mossis was doing the interview famous people and rip on them thing years ago.

At the end of the day, if the victims of the 7th july attacks are going to be offended by this film THEN DONT WATCH IT! its really as simple as that aint it, the films not going to be shown everywhere all the time. Its the simplest answer to the complex question of censorship.

alright, so i went a took a shower after that last post, and i was thinking a bit, and i have a slightly-tangential comment to make:

i think the biggest problem i find with the people i disagree with on a moral level (politically, religiously, comedically, etc.) is this: when you're a kid, it's easy to let your emotional center dictate your morality and actions. but it's STUPID to let your emotions dictate your morals and actions later in life; your thoughts are supposed to step in and give you a dose of common sense.

if you let your fear of something lead you to hate it and think it's immoral, you've given in and stopped thinking. if you let the fact that you're no longer feeling compassion let you think that laughing at a grieving person is still within moral guidelines or that it's an action you can take, then you've stopped thinking.

i'm not saying emotions aren't necessary; i still enjoy them when i know they are serving me well... good times with the friends, eating food, having sex, legitimate fear (fight-or-flight response), more sex, etc... but there's a time to let that go...

okay. i'm off my soapbox.
