Cheers thes, yeah the Daly Wilson Big Band good call - have you heard their version of "Tie Me Kangaroo Down"?
I hear some djs are after australian jazz nowadays, as a lot of american stuff has been sampled already.

Look for the Daly Wilson Big Band on Elephant, those seemed to be in abundance when I was in that part...Shook Ones drum loop. Also seems to be Library records floating around out there as well. Check the Yellow Pages, that's how I usually do it when there is no one left to ask.

Managed to get Herbie Mann - Memphis Underground for $5 in Adelaide and despite Herbie being white, it is quite funky.
