I saw this when I bought my vinyl and threw down some coin. I will do what else I can along the way... I will try my best to sustain this music financially as they sustain my life musically!

I will donate. After Christmas.

Part of me thinks it's a risky strategy (pessimist head on - I think the majority of people are more than happy to take things free), but, there's a large part of me that really believes in a co-operative model.
If you truly appreciate something you'll want to see it blossom. PUTS are way beyond that first blossom but surely have a great deal of creativity to give.
It appears that most of the guys in here have a certain world view (unless I'm simply projecting mine and picking it up again), one of sharing and, dare I say it, a deeper understanding. A sense that the collective is greater than the individual.
For that reason I think that, on a small(ish) level. It'll work.

If puts don't come to the Shires though I'll be asking for a refund....;-)

So, after perusing the puts.band site, I noticed the Donate link:

puts.band/donate

There are five levels:
10.00 (Love you guys, I want more free mixtapes and Music)
25.00 ("I have been streaming the hell out of your music bro" Package)
50.00 ("I downloaded all your albums bro" Package)
100.00 (I need PUTS in my life. Please don't stop.)

The obvious questions is: Will you donate and then how much? This isn't meant to measure your PUTS fandom rank if you only donate $10.00 or can donate $100.00. Just curious if there's support out there and if it'll work. As a fan, I want to see it work.

I've been clamoring for this to happen. Something along the lines of a subscription service to the PUTS vaults. A monthly or quarterly drop of some unreleased gems or recent stuff they've been working on. There's this group named Oh Wonder (male/female duo from the UK) who would release a song on the 1st of the month on Soundcloud for free leading up to their proper album release. I hope Thes and Double K can do something similar at their own pace to appease us fans who live for their music.

I'm not sure how I will contribute. Will I donate $100.00 at once and other donations when I can or simply just donate $10.00 a month for a year or at each release. It'll be interesting to see what we all can contribute so that our heroes can continue providing the soundtrack to our lives.
