Hmm images don't embed from Imgur?

You have to embed the direct image urls (right click on the picture and copy the link ending in .jpg) rather than the imgur layer above them:

And sorry, but I don't agree with the "grown men making music", "updated with the times" (I'm hearing this with Guru's voice from the interlude on 'Moment of Truth' in my head btw <img src="https://www.putsonline.co.uk/forum/my-plugins/bb-smilies/pfunk/icon_wink.gif" title=";-)" class="bb_smilies" /> ) and "nobody wants to hear music that sounds like the 90ies"* arguments. I've heard them all dozens of times before, so please don't take this personal, but these aren't objective criteria as much as rationalizations that stem from subjective personal tastes (, which of course everyone's entitled and welcome to.)
I'll happily admit to being stuck in the past when it comes to music, I stand by the fact that I don't care for this album and think it doesn't fit in with the rest of Tribe's legacy, but hey, that's just my opinion.

* There's plenty of people who still love and/or make 90ies style/inspired Hip Hop btw. Sure, certain things haven't aged well at all, i.e. shouty choruses or overly preachy raps (I can't even listen to guys like KRS or Talib Kweli after a certain point in their careers), but that doesn't mean there aren't still gems being dropped. I'm almost 100% certain anyone who digs vintage Tribe will also enjoy Jazz Spastiks. If you haven't heard of them be sure to check 'em out.

Also 13lood13ath I hate to say it but yeah dude you really missed out, I caught RTB in Miami that year it was insane! It was also insanely hot as it was all outdoors and on August 1st in Miami bayfront ampitheater, which was a last minute event change so we didn't get the full line up other cities did, but still got to see De La Soul, Mos Def, Q-Tip solo, ATCQ, Nas, so many other people I can't even remember right now...

This drops on wax today! I was surprised to hear people not liking it as much as I did, in the previous comments in this thread, I thought it was a solid LP. It wasn't trying to make a 90's sound, nobody would want to hear that. Don't forget these aren't the teenagers who made the original classics these are grown ass men with a lot more of the world behind them now so it's nice to hear something updated but, most importantly, not trying to sound like today's pop rap just to cash in on an effort. And it still made it to number 1!

Managed to pick this up a few days ago, it was only just released in Aus for some reason. Really digging it so far, but need to give it a solid listen through several more times. Beats are nice, rhymes are nice, and I think it totally has that Tribe 'feel' to it.

Great article. One thing I've noticed is missing from all this is Ali Shaheed Muhammed. He's not quoted in either of the articles I don't think, maybe briefly. I don't think he's in any of the promo pictures. He performed at SNL but, again, wasn't in any of the group pics. It was just Tip and Jarobi. And the above article said he was doing some movie score and wasn't involved too much in the making of the album. Then again, with Qtip taking the lead maybe there isn't that much for him to do. Just think its weird that he seems to be on the outer fringes of this project.

I've heard the album a bunch of times now and it's definitely got me. Great from start to finish. Different form their other albums but still has the Tribe essence. I think there are a lot of similarities to The Renaissance too, just darker and heavier. Which is interesting because (I'm pretty sure) The Renaissance came out the day Obama was elected and this came out right after President-Elect Clown won.
