Simply place the center hole on top of the spindle and gently push down. I've done this with nearly every single (new) flexi I've ever owned, plus the odd record and you can't really muck it up. One additional little trick I can share however is doing it with your knuckles, letting the spindle slip between your fingers: this allows good control AND cuts down on undesirable finger prints.

Now get to playing that bad boy!!

Ah cool, thanks for the tips. I'll give it a go. I was just being a little cautious as it's a pretty special little piece.

Tight (center!) hole >> loose hole. *insert jokes here*

Seriously though, as anyone who's ever messed around with records will tell you: loose center holes promote skipping. That's why you'll see DJs tape 'em up to ensure a snug fit around the spindle.

I also had that problem; I came into a spare though and that didn't seem to have the issue.

Does anyone else have a problem with the flexi disc not fitting onto the spindle of the turntable? Or is it just my copy? I don't wanna force it as I certainly don't want to damage the flexi.

I know this might be a long shot, but does anyone have an extra flexi disc for sale? I’m trying to find both blue and black flexi’s, but I’ll be happy to just find one. I didn't see Thes's email until the next day, so I was completely unaware of the release. I’ll pay whatever, Pat was a good friend and I’m desperate to get them.

it was hella packed! good times, it was mostly a friends and family type of environment. thes made a quick speech about how they came about to create Chem 70 and their philosophy of being 100% independent everything hand made. they raffled off some gear and a lucky winner got the acid raindrop surfboard.

according to thes, the store needs more work. they were literally working right up until the opening. i am excited for what the Chem 70 collective will bring. I was lucky enough to grab the acid raindrop, I am into surfing now and definitely getting my next board at Chem!
saw some wax they had a bunch of step 1 copies left, nothing of step 2, maybe a few WTPE, a few Highlighter, and handful of 12SP.
