Listening to the episode with Eligh and his start at Hamilton High with Scarub and Murs amongst others. I knew Double K must have been part of the scene there (he produced some very early stuff for Murs) but didn’t realise he was involved in some of the early Log Cabin sh!t ...

LOVED listening to this episode! Big Mike is such a true blue dude, the flavor of LA is definitely represented in this one. I had no idea that KK had a drive-by episode recently, sounds like some sh!t from a movie; so happy he and the fam are okay.

Also, one of my favorite parts of this episode was Double talking about the "end" of PUTS after TGOS3... So glad they aren't calling it after that release. When he was like, "Who the f*** started that rumor?" I was feeling a little sheepish as I'm sure the Forum's obsessive concerns exasperated the situation creating a frantic frenzy. What can I say other than we love them and can't imagine life without them.

So glad they are never gettin' off stage!

While I'm sure most of you will already be aware of (and/or subscribed to) Peter Agoston's excellent 'The House List' podcast after his conversation with Thes on Episode 50 (forum link here) we're now in for another treat in the form of another in depth feature with the one and only Double K:

And at the risk of preaching to the choir: 'The House List' has quickly soared to the top on the list my fav. podcasts and in a way filled the void left after the passing of Combar Jack. Peter Agoston has been doing great stuff since the Culturama days, with his label Female Fun, etc., etc., but I'm consistently amazed how great and varied the selection of his guests (friends/acquaintances/collaborators) on the podcast is and how natural the conversations flow, avoiding the numerous potential pitfalls and hangups of "promoting" artists or delving into their backgrounds and history.

Some notable episodes that come to mind are the ones with DJ Spinna, Mr. Voodoo (of Natural Elements), Keo/Lord Scotch (of X-Men fame), Count Bass D or J-Zone, but that's just off the top of my head.
