Thanks for the PUTS mix, I've been rocking it a lot recently! I love when original samples are used in mixes.

The MF DOOM mixes are great too - that's pretty much all I've been listening to this past week.

I'm pretty sure I got the LA Mike mix somewhere, as long as it isn't stepping on any toes, I'll post a link for you (or share it privately). Let me check my old hard drive and hope it still works ;)

I just discovered this forum because I was down a rabbit hole. I was searching for a mix double K put out years ago under the name LA Mike called "I hope you got your sunglasses on". It was one of my favorite mixes of the people, second only to DJ Day's 12 step program promo mix which were available for download years ago. My hardrive crashed and those are the two files I have never been able to relocate. If any one has a downloadable copy of either one, if you would be so kind and post it, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks YoYoPo! I'm glad you enjoyed it. There was still a handful of songs that I wanted to include, like the effects of climate change & slow bullet. Also, i wish I could have ended it Sound of a Memory because the piano at the end would have been a good way to finish. But overall, I'm happy with how it turned out.

So Carried Away was a weird release.

PUTS left Om Records after Or Stay Tuned (with a bit of bad feeling as I understand) but came back to Om for Carried Away. The LP version took forever to come out, had different tracks to the CD/digital version and if I recall correctly also was a bit messed up sound-wise (or maybe that was the Fun DMC vinyl...)

Anyway there were two tracks only on the vinyl version.

Lutherfest - which was just after Letter From The Old School (which has a prominant Luther Vandross sample).

I do have a digital copy of Lutherfest but it wasn't from the CD, so I can't remember if it came from the original digital download or if someone ripped it off the vinyl.

Then there's All Good Things - which uses stems which were released freely from Radiohead. But perhaps the label weren't sure about releasing it commercially. On the vinyl it's at the end of Chicken Kebap where clapping starts was when it's fitted in.

This is a track that got recorded for our 2009 release "Carried Away" but was left off do to potential sample issues - it was to be the second to last track right before the song Carried Away.

... The other weird thing about Carried Away is on spotify the first track is mislabelled 'Set It Off' instead of 'Step Off' ?
