Couldn't agree more. Great album front to back. The last song with Dave, Dont Push Me, is my favorite.

I liked Anonymous Nobody (better than the AOIs or Grind Date, at least), but this one is vintage De La Soul perfection. Time will tell, of course, but it could easily end up being one of their top tier albums.

Hey fellow PUTS fans!
Long time no see.
Just wanted to tip you off on the new De La Soul record, Cabin In The Sky.
It is BEYOND DOPE. For real. Real dope.
Been a De La Soul fan forever but after being a bit underwhelmed by the Anonymous Nobody I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one, but it is LEGIT.
Production by DJ Premier and Pete Rock ????
Guest spots by Q-Tip, Nas, Black Thought, Common and Slick Rick! (among others)
and man, Posdnuos goes ALL IN on this one. Maybe his best raps to date even.
This record has been in constant rotation since it dropped and I am STILL digesting it. It’s DENSE, it’s grown up, it’s a heartfelt reflection on life and loss, I could go on and on (and kinda already have).

Check it out. I’d be interested to hear your takes on it. I’m saying HipHop album of the year, easy.
