What UP everyone and Thes One!! You are so awesome its pretty much indescribable. Im a 16yr old junior in high school and i cant stand this mainstream bull sh!t thats circling around. Everywhere is 50 cent or The Game. They dont deserve to be platinum. Thank PUTS for putting out classic jazzy real Hip HOP!! I have a question for Thes One: I know you done some joints with the SAC, are you gonna joint this time with the SAC on the new P album? I heard the SAC is working on their second album, and Thes, we need you to do another remix. Ralphie Mix is the best sh!t.

Of course I remember you man! That was a fun night hanging out with you guys in Victoria. I still remember pulling up to the club and seeing you guys standing there next to the alley and we were like "well, this must be the place". I'm glad to hear the town got a dope DJ - stick with it and next time we come through maybe you can come up and rock the decks with the P at the show. Another funky success story yall! as for the questions: My grandfather taught me how to golf and I have played off and on my whole life. The driving range I go to actually has a history spanning back to the 50's of these Black Golf hustlas who used to play on the DL against all the PGA pros for cash bets when they weren't allowed in the real country clubs. It's sort of a ghetto golf facility but that's where you can find me, and on an interesting sidenote, I also see Suge Knight there on the regular hitting balls and smoking cigars. I am a huge Caddy Shack fan too, that's the whole point of the Noonen 12", I was just giving it up ya know? Big up to all of those out there who caught the limited version, there are 300 of them. Respect also those who caught one of the 500 original Back On The Block 12"s, there was a bootleg of it but it didn't have the bonus tracks you are talking about. That song is one that Double K made with OG Undadog (big respect) when they were just kids. That's Dub on the cut. Good call. On the other side the bonus cut is one of Dub's uncle's humming a tune he wrote. It's called "Freeze in the name of the Law". We will definitely be coming back to B.C. I think for sure we'll make it back to Victoria. Thanks man..

Wow, Thes thats so dope that you found the time to talk to your fans on Tim's awesome forum. It made my weekend! Alright well I'd just like to say that I'm basically living in the past still, after seeing you guys rock the mic over here (with J-Live) where I live in Victoria, British Columbia! I doubt if you remember but I waited outside Lucky Bar (where the show was), with my buddy before the show to hopefully catch up with you guys and get an autograph or two, and since you guys are so dope you hooked us up (and put us on the guest list incase our fake id didn't work). You signed my albums, as well as Dub, and hooked me up with Noonen stickers (haha I feel bad now cuz I was so excited to see you guys that I didn't know Jazmak was waiting in your car and I didn't show him love, DAMN. I only knew it was him once you were on stage cuz I didn't know what he looked like)(E-business is DOPE)! Anyways Thes, again, I don't expect you to remember but I was the kid who bought a copy of all of your records (and a limited NOONEN!), and the problem was at the time, I didn't have no turntables to play them on. So I asked my mom and she happened to have an old turntable and I just started playing your records on that. Eventually, after realizing how dope Double was on the turntables (and wanting to play your beats), it inspired me to invest in my own. I worked full-time all summer and bought a technic 1200 mk II turntable and a vestax (I wanted two tech's but a vestax is cheaper). So it turns out that I got decent enough since August on the tables that I am now my school's DJ. It might sound lame but I have DJayed two of my school dances so far and unfortunately I had to play mad biter music, but of course, I put on the P and all it took was a little O.S.T. to ease the crowd in. Now at my school Hang Loose, Out Da Club and Jappy Jap are crowd favorites. Alright well sorry if that was too long Thes, and to wrap things up I was wondering, do you play golf or are you just a massive Caddyshack fan? on the a side of your record Back on the Block, you know the last third track after the instrumental, is that Double's friend rapping with him on the decks? And finally, do you think you'll hit up Victoria again, and if not, Vancouver? Thanks a lot Thes for being true to hip-hop, your fans and putting out such quality ryhmes and beats.

yoyopo you should mos def try to get your link on the official puts site, it will help a bunch.

puts needs to sell gear because it will not only help fund the ever deserving puts, but also give the fans the needed puts logo to rock. ...and juicy vinyl.!!
but with that addition of a PUTS shop, there has to be somone to do all the packing and shipping and all.... any volunteers

Thes should defanitly keep visiting regularly, puts are the kids about the people! and people need the info
there may be a time where there are a hundred or so people registered here, and they are dependant on fresh news from the men themselves. Thes and Dub.

everything else seems top notch so far, more will eventually register, and this place be gettin crazy in no time,
as if this much isnt already enough Thes you rule brother-man!

Anyway, I've said this to people before but I reckon you can get AMV1 from http://www.roughtrade.com (famous london shop) or try http://www.budgetbeats.com/ which is a record shop in Liverpool (though you definitely need to e-mail them about it, i don't think their site works, that's where i got my copy) or you can always check eBay every now and then...

All I can really say is damn... I worked on my week off to get this new site ting up and almost straight away it's all buzzing! Man, it's like a headrush but I'm loving it, glad you all like the site (feel free to make suggestions n sh!t though, it's not like i'll get offended ) - - I'm trying to put all these thoughts i got right now down so sorry if it's hard to read or just plain don't make sense

Anyway its great to see you up on here Thes, say hi to KK for me!
Hopefully as the days pass more and more fans can find their way here which leads me to something mmfreegoo was saying about the official site and how it hasn't been updated. He suggested something i was thinking that maybe it could be arranged for a link to this site to be put up on the om records official site just so more fans find out about it. The official one is easy to find out about and is on like all your records so probably every P fan knows about it...
It's true what you say Thes about not much info being around about The P, hell I know that, so it's a tragedy if fans don't find out about this place (although you say you got troubles with that web site but i guess we'll see)

Thes you also said about wanting a personal PUTS site - just hook me up with any info you want up on here or anything at all and we can do it, just suggest sh!t man and we can try to work it!

to Stoic - you should definitely try to pick up the PUTS 12"s, they all got great b-sides... Out Da Club and Invisible Blunt Roller are my favs (must hears yo ) - I've got a load of my Tres records stuff from http://www.scenariorecords.com (tho i go to the shop in london which i recommend) and if people e-mail them asking for more Tres stuff then they'll get it in

Shallat thanks for that article, it's really well written and i think you got it spot-on, i'll be putting it up on the site sometime soon - i'll put it up in the sharing area and we can arrange this...

Now, about merchendise (thanks for my stuff Thes, the shirts and CD get regular use ) - i've got at least 3 e-mails over a couple months from people asking for PUTS shirts and I had to tell em i didn't really know - they used to be available from Om Records but that shop has kinda disintegrated - - Om Records needs to be woken up on this PUTS internet front, they're looking sloppy these days

But if Thes and Dub K are up for it then I'm sure something can be arranged eventually, even if it's just us sending each other stuff thru this message board or a proper shop type thing...

PS - couple other suggestions for you Thes - is any stuff from Double K's band gonna come out, especially now you got Tres Records going, man everyone loves funk. Also just plain thanks for coming up with Tres Records in the first place, the stuff you're putting out is so fresh (new GP album and your instrumental LP sounds sick!)

Also I actually found some proper nice vinyls hidden away in my dad's flat recently including a set of 3 picture disc 7"s of japanese nursery rhymes from the 60s, i haven't listened to it yet but the artwork was fresh. I was loving them mainly because I didn't expect to find them - I mihgt be able to take some pics of them to show you guys

man i probably had something else to say but i forgotten it, it'll be said later no doubt, peace

Much love to Thes K and Double One. Its about time there was a forum where I could complain about not getting a new PUTS album every 6 months and not rolling up to NYC for one of those deep fried, extra crispy live shows. SOB's was dope two years ago. Come back. This music is so good you got me running around like some dope fiend lookin for my next fix.

Question: someone mentioned they picked up and unrealesed version of AMERICAN MEN on the internet. Any info on where I could do the same would be GREATLY appreciated.
