I used to just search ebay for auctions on vinyl that were ending soonest, got a few absolute treats for next to nothing doing it like that... so easy to burn cash though...

Ill be having a look round 2 begin with, i know 300-400 is worth it in the long run but for now i jus wanna set of direct drives to get to grips with the basics, otherwise ill blow this money and might give up after a few weeks. lol.

that book looks really good aswell, ill have to get it.

Music just sounds so much better on vinyl.

Check out like Cash Convertors for some 2nd hand Technics, or have a look in your local paper for someone selling some.
You should be able to get a decent pair for like £300-£400 where as new you're looking at £750 for a pair.

I've got Technics 1200 (silver) Mk5s but I still reckon Vestax PDX 2000s are the best turntable.
If I had room I'd have my Technics and my Vestaxs all set up in my room.

My sound system is at the heart of my room with pretty much everything going through it.
Even tho its a 2 channel mixer I've got 5 things running through it, and my system sounds sooooo nice.

Anyway these purchases could start a new chapter in your life.
