@Mambo Get ready! In two weeks (09/27/10) the Bears play the Packers on Monday Night Football! I suggest waking up in the middle of the night to watch it if you can. Just know Bill and I will be watching and putting voodoo hexes on Rodgers and every other Packer.

OOhhh Man!! It was a wild week one for the Bears. I watched the game at a "Chicago Bears/Buffalo Bills Bar" @ on the Pacific Ocean here in San Diego. It was an awesome time. Obviously, we are 2000+ miles from Chicago...but we have one of the biggest fan bases in the league...and with tons of transplants making up the population in SD...there was a massive Bears following on hand. It was really neat cuz the place had (among others) 2 massive projector screens on opposite ends of the bar. One side had the Chicago/Detroit game on and the other had the Buffalo/Miami game. It was hilarious hearing the Bills fans cheer their dreadful team every time they made a somewhat decent play.

Anyways....the Bears game was frustrating to watch. We looked pretty good at times...and then shot ourselves in the foot with turnovers. \ On a good note we won 19-14 ! ona a sour note...we should have lost. A controversial call overruled a late Calvin Johnson touchdown....giving DA BEARS their first W of the season...ill take it!!

This may be the year to root for them. They look strong and should come out of the NFC Central since the Vikings are a little banged up. Bears and Lions pose no threat this season to the division title.
