Anyways, we went back inside and i went to the restroom to swap my shirt. After about 10 minutes of having to listen to that god awful second act, I decided i had enough and plus i felt bad for my lady cuz she was still wearing her soaked shirt, so we ended up just taking off.

The show was packed. I had never seen a line out front of the Detroit Bar before.
Last year's show had about half that showing.

Had high hopes and then all this shite went down.. .

The funny thing is that I've literally been to hundreds of shows, concerts, whatever... . ranging from hip hop to punk to reggae-sh!t, I've even seen Garth Brooks. I've been to shows in smaller venues as well, but out of em all I have never been so pissed to walk out before
I got to see who I was there to see!

Oh well, rite? Not every night can be perfect.

Now comes the shite part about the evening: at about the halfway point of the 2nd act, some douche bag wanna be writers standing behind me and my old lady we're getting a bit rowdy and act'n a fool- it was almost as if they had never been to a damn show before. Anyways, one them ending shoving one of his douche bag friends who then in turn dropped their cocktail all over mine and my lady's back.

Needless to say i was pissed! I ended picking up a shirt from Thes that I could throw on, but there was nothing for my girl so she stood there for a few minutes with a soaked shirt, smelling like liquor and feeling all sticky at the same time.

After about 15 minutes(just before the P came on) we ended up leaving.. .

Looking back on it, im bummed that we left, but at the same time, it just wasnt enjoyable as it appeared that Detroit Bar oversold the show.
