Hey i am not fussed really when, where or who i'd just like to see the P live again in the UK.....However.....with the PL70 team having a few issues at the moment i think a UK tour could be the last thing on there mind. But saying that lets see what we can do.....

That new music venue would be SOOOOOO DOPE!!! Seriously cool, il have to send em an e-mail just for the hell of it!

Yeah i agree, cardiff SU isnt the best venue but i figured the one with a bit of muscle, ive not emailed Ten Feet Tall, but have sent an message to both clwb Ifor Bach and C-Y-N-T which are a group of promoters, they had Bonobo this time last year and are really flexible with what music they play. Well try the guys that you suggested inb london to, (Krush in january! DAMN! Im up there 2 weeks before visiting some mates!

mambo - The P played the Cardiff SU before with Giant Panda (back in... 2006?). Not the best venue though - what about Ten Feet Tall or that new arts venue!?

co-ordinated mass inquiries will get promoters interested but for London I don't understand the focus on Jazz Cafe - yes, PUTS have played there several times before but it's under new ownership since a year or two go I think and it's not what it was! I think these dudes are the best bet - they're definitely bringing the best hip hop shows in London right now!

The Jazz Cafe has got to be the place to hit...seems the most likely to appreciate the P...and although in the Big Smoke, I'd put up with all the sh!t that's involved in going for one glorious night that will never be repeated...

Who did you make contact with - have you still got the details?
If so, I'll hit um again, otherwise I'll just send something to whoever.

Hi Dudes, last year i believe it was i badgered the Jazz Cafe in London to see if they would sort something out in regards to PUTS coming over. I acutally did get a reply which i think was a pretty standard....thanks for asking type thing and of course nothign came of it. Maybe though if all of us UK heads all targetted the same places at once no matter if where they are in the UK then these people may sit up and take notice. So if every just posts where they have sent the requests to and the contact details we could then hit them on mass.....just an idea

Welcome to the boards thisismossop.

Ive sent two emails to the SU in cardiff and also contacted the promoters for another event but recieved nothing back. I guess when your saying "you need to get these guys to your club" the automatic reaction is to think "fanboy/member of the group wasting our time on another sh!tty group who weve never heard of"... DAMN! I even told em all the facts i could, (like they been going over ten years and 8 albums strong) I dunno, i guess promoters want a sure thing, how about we all try and contact one venue? Prehaps in Bristol or Swansea with mossops connections? and maybe they the promoters might listen?

My first post, be gentle with me...

So, we are all thinking the same thing, I'm in the Bristol area and have some contacts; Lakota mainly, but I may also have an in @ Thekla. My brother is in Swansea and has contacts at the SU there, so we can make this happen peeps!

I like the idea of a 'Secret House Party' in the UK...

Sorry all. Sky have f**ked up my internet after moving so not had a chance to get online. Can not find my flyers, they are in a flight case somewhere so need to keep searching, not even sure that would help though. Trying to get in touch with a promoter I deejayed for a while ago because he liked the P but not had much luck, + we are down in south devon, not quite the hip hop heartlands.
On a stupid note, when I moved in to my new gaff I placed a small PUTS poster in the 'under the stairs' cupboard, to see how long it would take for the missis to spot & kick off. It took her two & a half weeks! To be fair, she found it well funny, so its staying there!
