Oceanman, I've really liked all those albums you've posted. Wasn't Damu gonna release the new Y Society album in 2011. I thought that's what I had heard Insight say in some interview.
I also wasn't sure if I should include EPs. But if so, then I would include Rock La Flow's Flowgram Pt. 2.

not sure if 7"'s counts as 'best albums of the year' (i'm guessing no)

but the five Damu the Fudgemunk put out this year are all DOPE+,
i just got the 2 newest ones (white vinyl!) in the mail today...

too lazy to make a proper list, but off the top of my head, i would say these need to be on there as well:

K-Def- 'Night Shift'
Grap Luva- 'Neva Done'
J. Rocc- 'Some Cold Rock Stuf'
Exile- '4 Trk Mind'

that K-Def album is some seriously dope sh!t. highly recommended.
honourable mention for the Highlighter EP, if for 'Fishbucket Soundcheck' alone.
