Some great stuff here, love it.
I picked up a Jazz Couriers album for £3 the other week in Stratford upon Avon.
De La Tribe, G Love and Special Sauce are dope.
Once, drunk, I recorded them live at a gig. They were amazing, literally! At about 45 minutes in I discovered I'd set the meter levels but forgot to depress the pause button.....

That Stezo is really good. Going to Amoeba's today to check out the new releases (hoping they have The Suffers and Kooley High), hopefully they have that too. Germany's a little far.

Oh and the best thing about the Stezo record is you could mail order clothes from the inside sleeve. Someone had filled out the form to get a XL wool/leather Bomber jacket shipped from NYC to London... they must have changed their mind when they realised how much $175 was in 1989 money!!!

So had my final qualifications exam last week. Wasn't gonna go back to work afterwards so spent some well-earned time in the record shop. Spent more than I planned but got some nice stuff -

De La Tribe, I haven't had an Oscar Peterson record on my turntable yet but Verve Records is on my "just grab it!" jazz list. I've got a couple nice Stan Getz LP's on Verve, though.

As for me, I definitely buy more new records than used classics. But I found this in one of my go-to record stores the other day:

I usually don't care that much about whether I own an original copy, a reissue or rare pressing (what I definitely don't want is a bootleg, though!) but this here LP seems to be a little older. While it's probably not rare or hard to get I was still happy to get my hands on it!
