Not sure how many of you are Bone thug fans... but they will be in SF on 3/1 (this friday). I got my tickets and I am so excited I can't see straight. they are one of my favorites, ever since I was little. Not sure where the love began but I am finally going to the concert I have anticipated the most my whole life. I hope its a good one.. Ive heard some concerts were the best, and some weren't so good.. so well see!

Never really listened to any Bone Thugs before, honestly, but I'm sure I'll give 'em a whirl at some point! In the meantime, though, I hope it's a good show! ... BTW, 'bip: you get another job? Haven't heard from ya in a few months.

I used to think that I was the only Pharcyde fan that liked Labcabin more than Bizarre Ride! Both are amazing f***ing albums but I always liked its chilled out vibe ofmore than the crazy freneticness (which is still awesome, don't get me wrong) of Bizarre. Tell me what the f*** sh!t's gotta be like that... Ashamed to say I never listened to Plain Rap but I probably am not the only Pharcyde fan to say that.. I should fix that

I dont get it.. Labcabin and even Plain Rap were really good CDs.. maybe not as crazy and all over the place like the first one.. they were def more experimental.. but it does really irk me that those other two aren't as praised. They really were amazing though. Voices still sounded so good. ah. lol i would see that concert once a week if i could, forever. hahah.

D*mn, 'bip, that sounds like the night of a lifetime. Making me jealous; wish I been there! I bet you'll be feeling that high for a while. Congrats and thanks for sharing it with the PUTS fans!! Maybe I'll try to make it in September.

So glad to know that there are still hip-hop dudes out there who are cool to the fans and really appreciate the support. Especially when it's the Pharcyde, who really got overlooked (especially with Labcabincalifornia), which I know might've left some other acts bitter.

So this weekend was The Pharcyde concert and it was honestly AMAZING. Words can't even describe how amazing my night was.

Went to SF, rolled up some joints and got to the concert around 9. First few acts came on and they were cool. Then all of a sudden the Pharcyde popped up out of no where and started performing (i thought theyd be on a lot later, people still performed after them). I was in the very front row and it was fkn awesome. The stage was higher up, it went up to about my neck so we were looking up at them.

Slimkid recognized me (I talk to him on twitter/instagram) and came up and grabbed my hand a few times and smiled. Then later on even grabbed my hand and spun me in a little circle. Fatlip also came and grabbed my hand as well as other fans and they were just SO into their audience. I even passed my joint to J Swift and he hit it and gave it back to me :p

Seeing them on stage was unreal, they are jumping around back and forth, playing their whole Bizarre album with so much passion and fun. They were just smiling the whole time on stage. They started break dancing at some point, Slimkid wormed it across the stage, They even rocked jump suits during the second half of the concert.

But the best part came at the end of the concert. They were playing their "last song" and when it ended I was a little sad because I really really wanted them to play She said (Slimkid told me they were gonna play it a few weeks ago). So when the song was over, he looks at me and i sort of waved my hands for him to come over to me and he walks over, kneels on the stage and i was like" you guys have to play She said its my favorite" and he gets up, whispers in J swifts ear and all of a sudden She said (amsterdam mix, the best version IMO) starts playing!!! now i know it probably would have came on the encore regardless but the fact he came over to me and it played right after was just .. ah.. you dont even understand how excited I was. The crowd also had SO much energy. Everyone was singing along to every song and it was such a diverse group of people which was dope.

So then after the concert, I bought a shirt, brought my Bizarre CD and when I saw slimkid he gave me a hug and I took a pic with him and fatlip :) we talked for a second and it was honestly unreal. Then i look to my left and see Opio from Souls of Mischief there! so i was like "Opio" and he looks at me and he recognized me from Instagram and the concert I went to in Sac a few months ago. He was like "i didnt' really get the chance to meet me last time for very long" and i took a pic with him and talked to him for a bit.

Then he pulls out a bag of weed and we were about to smoke with him and idk how we got separated (i was a bit crossfaded lol) but i ended up going to get food later on and we left. He later saw my pic on instagram of us and told me it was good seeing me. It was dope as f***. all those guys are so chill its insane.

It was also LuckyIams bday from Living Legends and he was supposed to perform later that night, but I finally got to meet him after texting and tweeting for so long ha. He was real cool too. Then when i left I saw fatlip outside and I told him it was the best concert Ive been to and he thanked me and gave me a hug.

It was just such a great concert I really really want to go back to the Sept 2 show theyre having in SF again. If you can make it I highly suggest it because it was so much fun. Crazy they played a CD that i was only 3 when it came out, yet they had the most fun, energy, voices still on point, the songs obviously were hella good and they still have so much passion. Sh*tting all over these young bucks who think they really got it. hahah.

sorry for the novel, im still leaving things out but i just had to share this experience with people who would appreciate it. I tell my friends but they have no idea how classic these guys are or even who they are honestly. So yea that was my Fri night :)))

Ill upload pics soon when i figure out how to through my work computer ha

the shows go pretty late though, DJ shadow didn't go on til 1:30am and went til 4am (even though the bar stops serving alcohol at 1:30). people in SF are hella hyped on fatlip performing with pharcyde so i'd expect it to be pretty crowded...

i saw passion pit there once and it reaaaaaaaally starts to clear out around 3, tho
