You are lucky in the UK they got alot of mashin rootie type ish. Its hard to come up on vinyl in america for OG press's but the UK and other places got some dope ish!

ohh i was listening to an Aquaris dub's album and the late great J-Dee sampled it in the Jaylib song Heavy, same bass and vocals. DOPE!@

dancehall can get down, agreed, but only the music with a rootsical message. Barrington Levy, Pato Banton, Dillenger for example are artists that put out GREAT dancehall vibes.

I am speaking of the songs/artists that speak nothing but poonany talk and guns and bling bling.

Much of the modern dancehall is no better than modern rap. Edgy, uninspired and recycled garbage.

Big up everybody! Greetings from Portugal! I listen to a lot of reggae! I prefer the roots reggae things! I love Dub! What a great achievement for music producers of all kinds! Try listen to all the Soul jazz Records compilations like the Dynamite series and labels like Studio One Records and Trojan records. You also have some hip hop songs that have sampled reggae artists.
