So I heard Ron Wotus, long time bench coach and former minor league manager for the Giants might be interviewing for the Rockies' manager position...

Sounds like Wotus is safe... Rockies are claiming the job will go to either Matt Williams, Walt Weiss, Jason Giambi.

Yah I heard that too! They were talking how surprised they were that it hasn't been sooner and from more clubs... It would be bittersweet to see him go. He is a helluva baseball mind and any team is lucky to have him IMO. It would make the games more interesting with two coaches thinking alike and knowing each other inside out if it is true, kind of like Bob Melvin and the A's or even Matheny and St. Louis. Like watching two Chess Masters facing off. I hope The MGMT can keep the team intact as much as possible, but it is inevitable that there will be some casualties of business.

Haha bitter much? Thing is it's not just Scutaro, it's anyone that joins the team. It's an intangible called Team Chemistry that the Rockies aren't even close to having. It's birthed from the Top Ranks of the organization and flows down until there is no place else for the positivity to flow but outward, bringing out the best in all who partake of it. This my friend is how Dynasty's are built...

As far as your luck jab is concerned, too funny... They literally put on a baseball clinic showing the world exactly why perfect defense coupled with great pitching will always get you a W. Crazy things happen in many games, flukes, errors, etc; but continually capitalizing on the mistakes/luck is what separates the goods from the greats. I love perspective and how much it can vary... I always considered the rest of the NL, mainly the NL West, lucky for not having to face a complete Giants team in 2011. Before Cousin's dirty-ass bulldoze of Posey, the G-men were on course for another(back-to-back) Title IMHO. And for the record, SF is just getting started man! I'll take your half-hearted congrats as a concession to SFGiants MLB dominance! <img src="https://www.putsonline.co.uk/forum/my-plugins/bb-smilies/pfunk/icon_cool.gif" title="8-)" class="bb_smilies" />

Congrats to #MVPanda for an awesome series and for setting an ominous tone for DET right from the start... 8 for 16, 3HR's, 4RBI's...

Sure, just ignore the Rockies. We'll be back sooner than you thought. Scutaro couldn't hit into a gap in Coors field. It pisses me off to no end how poorly he played in Colorado vs how well he did in San Francisco.

Congratulations on your WS win. I hope your team is finally able to pass that lucky horse shoe that's been crammed up your butt for the past 5 years.

Thnikkaman said:
I hope Pablo Sandoval breaks his leg rounding second base and all of his Gravy pours out.

But honestly, once the Rockies are done with their pitching issues (If ever), we are coming after you like a Spider Monkey.

Will this be before or after you trade us all your Scutaro's?

And yes Pablo is overweight, but I guarantee he is the best athlete on the field. Dude can switch hit, switch throw, and his hand/eye coordination allows him to crush balls that should typically be unhittable.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBgLlJKSJlE

Honestly though, The Rockies are the last team on my list that I'm "watching out" for. SD & AZ are close to having competing teams. Either way, the NL WEST is going to be tougher and tougher every year.

Game 2 was awesome, great pitchers duel... Glad Fister was ok after getting drilled in the head. What McCarver said after made me LMMFAO though... "MLB will be implementing a pitcher helmet like the base coaches wear." Yah right, this just in... Pitchers to start wearing full catchers gear. If MLB didn't change the slide rule after Buster got pummeled, I highly doubt they would ever make dudes pitch with helmets.

Can't wait for game 3! Go Giants Go!
