If any one read my post before the show they would know that I had two objectives for the night. One was to get into the show, but being only 20 made it hard because it was 21 and over. So I'm sorry to say I didn't get in but glad to say I saw the whole show for free from a window that was positioned perfectly to see every thing and I Felt the show through the glass and heard it all (besides the fact that ever five minutes a train rolled passed). The second plan was to play records outside the venue till Thes and Double k came out and that plan came through with flying colors. I was able to conversate with the greats them selves, also inside the venue that I was trying to get in all night. Im happy to say that it was well worth the 3 hour drive from Aurora IL, to Chicago and also worth the crappy wheather. Thanks agian You Both for coming out and tearing that venue a new asshole .
Blueberry beedies and beats and keepin' it warm on the streets.

The show was crazy! I didn't expect the crowd to be that huge because of the weather, but cotdamn if Chicago didn't come through for the P. I'm glad ya'll weren't involved in the plane crash at Midway.

I was one of the early arrivals because I took the blue line straight from work. Saw a dude get turned away for being under 21. Overheard Thes and Double KK at the bar talking abolut some dude's big screen.

I was near the stage and it tripped me out to see the 3 girls in the front rapping along to almost every song. Didn't know Thes and KK had fans like that, but happy to see it.

The set was live. Thes coming out near the end in the "Prince" costume singing San Francisco Knights was hilarious. The Christmas cane was that added flair.

The two new songs from Stepfather were tight. I am looking forward to that album, and fiending for 4.18.06 to come sooner.

No complaints. Thanks Thes One and Double K!

Big shout to Thes and Double K for braving Mother Nature and sneaking in town to rock the Chi.

Gasface to my man who lives 4 blocks away but didn't come through (and should know better cause he was standing next to me when ya killed the Metro a few years back).

I was impressed with the turnout considering the 2 and 3 hour commutes that everyone was dealing with last night. My 32 sixth graders got to see the uglier, hungover side of Mr. Wilson this morning, but Thursday's party was worth Friday's pain.

Damn dude. Woke up at 6 am, Was supposed to land at 4pm, landed at 5:30, sliding.
Sat on the runway till 6pm. Finally got off plane, 3 hours it took from the airport to the club! Went straight there, rocked it, wen tto the hotel at 4am and checked in. Woke up at 7 and got in a cab to go back to the airport. Missed my flight, finally caught one out (barely) at noon. Now I'm taking the wife out to dinner and god damnit I'm gonna have a beer! (still haven't eaten really yet either. dang)

The show was insane!!!! Thanks to the Chi-Town fam, analog addicts and everyone who pumped with us. It was a great time and one of the best crowds we've had in a long time....

getting called in to work + sh!t weather + living in milwaukee = i couldn't make it. i hope everyones good and hung over with some stories to tell.
