Yo Thes,

First things first, DAMN! Unfortunately, i was also one of the few that couldn't resist getting a sample of Stepfather, and i just wanted to say thank you and K for just reminding me how dope hip hop is. I'm stuck in the bay, and right now there's this huge hyphy, go dumb, ride the yellow bus movement, and when the fat mexican on the radio isn't force feeding us with that garbage, he's filling the airwaves with the trash that comes from the south.

OST was definitely my favorite album, and after taking a while to get this album done i was expecting nothing less than perfection, and you and k failed to disappoint. This album is by far one of the dopest i've heard ever. Mike Jackson on a P album? Whoa! Oh yeah, nice one with the Hollywood Shuffle - "Where's my bitches?"

I'm not dickriding - i'm just saying thanks and sorry for "getting" the album, but i figured if i can dole out 4bills for the ipod i can definitely cop about 4 copies once it's out.

Grandma is going to wil'out when she hears this one.

I'm looking forward to seeing you guys at the Independent and what are the chances you guys are going to do either suite for beaver pt 2 or jamboree pt 2?

So to further the thread away from nasty download talk...and talking about Listening Guides....

How do you enjoy your PUTS?

I once listened to OST on my headphones sat on a rock at the edge of the sea on a warm evening on holiday in Crete and watched the sunset with a cooler-bag of ice cold beers. It was one of the nicest evenings of my life and the scenery, calm and atmosphere enhanced the album (if that's possible) and made it a truly perfect hour or so that I'll never forget.

I am not discussing stepfather, before others are getting a chance to hear it.

Im just discussing overall downloading off music, which i do not believe is as bad as people are making out.

I have said it before, i love hip hop music and i like to support the artists that deserve supporting. I dont live in a city that has new underground hip hop played 24/7, its harder for me to hear new acts.

Without downloading, i would have never heard of ugly duckling, PUTS or Giant Panda, who are now some of my fav bands. I try to support these bands and will continue to do so. Also many people who download the album may not be able to go out and buy it straight away, but they still want to hear the music and buy the album when they can. Then when you tour their city they might pay $10 to see you perform and maybe spend another $10 getting a shirt.

You ask would i steal a car, no... but i would test drive it before buying it
