So not only did Thes put the original Rootdown clash on spotify recently, someone put the Stro x Newman beat battle on youtube last month (hosted by Thes). So dope - I never realised this got filmed!!

yeah the audio quality of the CD is better but of course you dont get the whole atmosphere visual interactive vibe

seeing the wurlitzer in action is awesome and will.i.am prancing about the whole time and raving with his keyboard is hilarious

Yeah, this really is a solid ass performance. The Album is good, and the DVD is good as well.

good to see things (liner notes aside) worked out on this. i haven't had a chance watch all 3 battles yet, but seeing 'the baron' happen in real time gave me the chills... especially for someone like me that's got no experience doing this sort of thing. super dope.

I got my copy yesterday and I've been looping "Want You Back" over and over and over again! It's hilarious to see will.i.am with mad crew on one side of the stage, and Thes - wait, excuse me, The Baron Lugwig Van Thes, Racing Car Driver and Hero to Millions - in a suit and top hat, all by his lonesome. Awesome!

The liner notes say Thes runs Tres Recordings, which could be a source of contention.
