Hopefully we'll see a music video from Highlighter in the near future. I was just thinking about Sactown's idea (I think it was Sactown's idea) of him being in the video with a Cobalt and some other guys on the forums. That would be some funny stuff!

Add the Mike & Chris Show to the list. I can't wait for that to happen

Yeah PUTS have delivered with every album..and that rocks! Hopefully Thes wont have a breakdown because all the stuff he is doing. All the best for years to come...cant wait for any material from them or anything that drops from PL70.

true! Dj Day is the next big release I think, then no doubt we'll hear some more news. PL70 need a bit more news-action though, Thes needs another intern!

I'd be surprised if any of them were released before ~April/May... (Boy, I sure hope I'm wrong... )

Sad to say that I think you're right... I'll be the first in line to hippity-high-five the Thester for holding down PL70, but I do think it's hard to juggle the tour AND the biz AND the PUTS AND the family. I hope that, after the tour, he does a bit of tweaking and "oils the PL70 machine" as it were... you know: get a release schedule posted up, maybes some "assembly line" action, etc.

Looking forward to the DJ Day album, definitely, and everything else you listed... I still hope there'll be a limited edition PUTS brew sometime.

williamhmacy said:
btw, thes has said before that 10 is the magic number of albums for him and double before they consider semi-retirement.
question: with 8 albums already out, would you rather have the last 2 sooner than later, or see the P drag it out for as long as possible? i'd prefer the latter just so it keeps them touring and releasing singles here and there longer.

Here's a quote out of the after-show hang-out from the last time they were in S.F.:

(Sactown: ) Well, since you been through all of it, when’s the autobiography coming out? Selling that on PL70…
(Thes One: ) Uh, still got a couple more albums in us before that happens.
(eightbitbreaks: ) Not done yet!
(Sactown: ) Hell yeah, I hope you guys got a lot more albums left in you, but…
(Thes One: ) Ten’s the magic number.
(Double K: ) That’s a magic f*ckin’ number, man.
(Sactown: ) Well, but you guys aren’t talkin’ retirement, though… I mean, you’ll still keep going if 10 is rockin’ f*ckin’…
(Thes One: ) I’m just sayin’… after that… let’s just get to 10, you know?
(Sactown: ) Yeah, that’s the milestone…
(Double K: ) Then after that? You know what we’ll do? We’ll do something new, see where it goes…
(Thes One: ) But that was always like… we used to say after the second album… we never even thought about 10. But now, 10 is like…
(Sactown: ) It’s attainable.
(Thes One: ) Yeah, it’s crazy.

I'm still just thinking that it's crazy they've even made it to eight... how many hip-hop groups (or really ANYONE) have done that without completely sucking after a while? I can even think of a "low-point" in their catalog.

Is anyone else worried that Thes running PL70 and being tied down with organizational/label/etc. work a large amount of the time may have a large impact on how quickly (or rather slowly) things move forward on the creative side..?

I mean not only does he have less time to work on his own stuff but I also can't imagine several PL70 projects being released too close to each other without some serious multi-tasking taking place behind the scenes. As much as I'm looking forward to all the albums mentioned above I'd be surprised if any of them were released before ~April/May... (Boy, I sure hope I'm wrong... )
