PLEASE TELL ME THE TOURDATES ARE FOR REAL.

If so I will comence headspinin' on my office desk.

I fell victm last time to the bogus Little Brother Dates and flew to LA last November.

Chicago is ready and PUMPED!!!! I'll be the funkmobin outside with a crate of stinky vinyl, BUT I'M 22 NOW SO NO BOUNCERS TO TELL ME I HAVE TO LEAVE. Thes tried sneakin' me and a couple friends in last time, but being that I'm a 6'4" 280lb Latino makes me kind of hard to stoe away. Long story short I was rockin the ghetto blaster till 2am outside.

Ticketbastard sends me emails regarding shows in and around Detroit and the Flobots / PUTS show was listed in the one I got this morning. Let me get this straight, though - PUTS are opening for Flobots??? I guess I need to give them a listen before I commence any sh!t talking.

That's the thing though, I haven't heard it and that's solely what I base my opinion on regarding music. There are a lot of trend following clowns out there as stated, but that's not going to change my opinion either way. At the same time I usually don't go out of my way to check the latest & greatest hip-hop groups (especially if hyped up by hipsters) unless like-minded heads are recommending. I guess I'll check the myspace - maybe...

I just checked out the Flobots album on Amazon. I listened to a couple of samples, read some reviews (got three and a half stars out of 5 on Amazon). I have no clue how these guys got teamed up with the P. Singer sounds like the dude from Cake and none of the tracks grabbed me at all. It's sort of rap rock but it's not good. I'm bouncing after P.U.T.S. in Philly. I don't know who would top their show anyway.

Glad someone actually checks sh!t out to formulate an opinion before putin' the offical sh!t stamp on it, but so far it seems like only negative reviews. Will see.

Went on the House of Blues Chicago Sight and it looks offical.

Is this the tour for Fun DMC? Cos Yeah I'll be well pissed off if they're not playing down my way - I missed them by 2 months when I first moved here, they did a show downtown and an instore! (still got to see them the next month on their UK tour but still!)

There needs to be some FL shows, I've not missed a P tour since 2001!!!

And I remember the show in Brighton where Dub K and Thes bought YoYoPo on stage to rock with them! (lucky git! haha!)

Why aren't The P headlining in Chicago? That shits bogus. Is it too late to add another Chitown show?

Headlining or not, the P will definitely rock Chicago. Probably a good thing they come on earlier for me, so that I can leave and possibly still go to work in the morning (show is on a Wednesday).

Whats up yall..

Yes we are headin out on the road in August, and yes it is unfortunately opening for the flobots. Don't get me started on the situation. Don't think that us going out on the road is us co-signing their music either - we just got to do whats best for Fun DMC, and unfortunately that was the only high profile tour heading out in august in time to support the record. So the good news is we'll in town and everyone on the board gets in free!

Thes, you are the MAN. I'm in Baltimore until the 8th and then am going to Chicago for school, so ill be at both shows! I was hoping to land an interview for my college radio show on WXAV 88.3 fm Chicago if thats possible. Lemme know. Otherwise here is my requested guestlist for Baltimore, Aug 4:
