Posts: 26Posted 17 years ago #Man, i've got school early tomorrow and i've stayed up till 3 in the morning listening to this unbelievable mix. The highlight for me is the remix of Step Bacc. Quite possibly the sickest thing i've heard in a long time. Thanks for this little treat and keep making that good ol' hip hop. Can't wait for the album and thanks again for the musical dope. -

Posts: 1,528Posted 17 years ago #Woke up this morning and noticed Paul Dateh posted a bulletin on Myspace that had a link to the Funner Than Leather promo mixtape. Word?!?!?!
Well I downloaded that mixtape quicker than a mug. Noticed it was a one track mp3. No sweat. Spent about 30 minutes chopping it into separate tracks in order to play in on the commute to work.
MAN!!!!!!! This mixtape is dope as hell. Made my morning commute in on Lake Shore Drive (Chicago) a breeze. I was just cruising to the funky tunes. Normally I take the Red Line in, but got to drive this morning due to my girl taking the day off and not needing the car.
I'm stuck on the Step Bacc remix. That joint is funky as hell. Kept repeating it as I rolled through downtown Chicago to my office.
Can't wait until September 30 when I can roll into Best Buy and purchase FUN DMC, Murs For President, and D.I.R.T. I think there's another album coming out on that date. Will be a good day in Hip-Hop for sure.
Quick question though, is there a tracklisting for Funner Than Leather? I made it 20 tracks, so not sure if that's even the exact number of songs on it. I think i did a good job though.
And no, I won't post or PM a link to the tracked out version of the mixtape I created, unless Thes says it's ok. After the FUN DMC player link I posted got deleted I don't want to step on any more toes. -

I love how you've kept a kinda tradition of a reggae vibe song since ost. ILL. Step bacc remix is dope aswell. Lovin this mix!!!
